Though we will continue to promote and support the fantastic
products made by Master Replicas, we ourselves and a number of
good customers have noticed the eratic pricing policies of recent
that results in serious price deficit in the UK marketplace. Many
of us have paid a premium to have the replica fast and then we
find in just a short space of time the US price drops
significantly, which affects you as a buyer and our reputation as
official retailer in the marketplace.
We pride ourselves on excellent service, communication and fair
pricing, but we feel that if we continue to stock items from MR
at a higher price, knowing they will be reduced later, is both
unethical and deceiving.
As a result we have taken the decision NOT to supply from stock
ANY brand new release item from Master Replicas from March 1 2004.
We WILL provide the products on a pre-order basis and ALL pre-orders
will be filled for ALL new items that are released. So for those
of you that must have the product early we can still serve you as
always. However, we will ONLY carry STOCK of MR products once
they have reached 'closeout' price levels which will be later
than general release date in the UK. We urge you to wait for us
to get them at the reduced prices and have confidence in our
buying ability like you always have. Yes, it will be later, but
yes it will be cheaper. The choice is yours.
As a MR pre-order ONLY we will charge you a non-refundable 20%
deposit at the time you place your order. Once the item comes to
our warehouse ready for trans-shipment onto you we will charge
the balance.
We have taken this decision in order to better protect the money
that you, our loyal friends and customers, work hard to earn and
to hopefully discourage this kind of pricing policy in future.
