The target commander fox SHOULD be out on the 26th as well.  They are in the stockrooms so it would only make sense to put them out with the other stuff.

I guess the madness started a bit early here in tuscaloosa, I found the new Clone wars and legacy figures along with the evoulution sets at our local Toys r Us. I have pictures taken on my cel but have not been able to locate my usb to download. As soon as I find my usb i will post the pics. No vwhicles were foun but the figures have been put out at least  3 cases worth of the CW and a case of the legacy.

I went to WM yesterday and found a pallet display with all the CW wave 1 and Legacy wave 1 and 2, the Homing Spider Droid, and the Torrent.  The nice lady in toys was finishing the final step of putting them in the computer so I could check out.  When I went to check out, I almost went nuclear when they rang up as "restricted" at which point they took $300 worth of stuff from me and my two sons.  At least they went straight back and pulled the pallet displays from the floor.  I was mad because I had all but 3 of the first 16 as the 1st Day of Issues.  The foil logo is only on the 1st day ones.  I liked them enough to want my CW and Legacy wave 1's to be 1st Day Issue ones.

Makes you mad when they have the items on the floor for sale and they won't sell them.... happened to me today....

Well, you know, they need to save all that stuff for the scalpers who will likely beat you to the merchandise the second time that they roll it out. Frustrating our hobby can be.

That does suck that you couldn't get them, but the good news is you saw the realistic Clone Wars wave already - I believe those weren't supposed to be shipping until mid August, so I'm stoked to thing that I might be able to get some Mon Cal and Quarrens in a couple weeks.

Take a 30AC figure to the self checkout counter and scan it for the number of figures you are buying.  You will be paying for the figures this way.  It will mess up the store's inventory system a little until they take inventory again.  That's pretty much the only way you're gonna get them early from a walmart.  If you try to scan ANY of the new stuff it will say do not sell no matter what walmart you are at or which register you go to so there's no sense in even trying.  They aren't going to be in the computer for sale until the 26th. Target does not have their computer set up this way so if you get someone to bring out a case using a dpci then you should have no problem buying them and I assume tru is the same way with their computers.

If they have them on the floor, they should sell them to you, end of story. What do they do with them after they "confiscate" them at the register? I'll bet any amount of money they just go and put them back on the pegs.

Most likely he found them on a pallet not yet out on the pegs.  The employees probably just took them to the back but they will probably make their way back out with the freight the next night.

The bullseye is set up where the items are scanned as they come off the truck and it let's them know if it can come out. So unless it is ignored there won't be many "Leaks"

It was one of those big displays that WM wheels out on a pallet.  It had a CW deco and the figures were displayed on it, so no, I did not take them off of a pallet where they were still boxed.

This is what makes me sick:

http://cgi.ebay.com/Star-Wars-The-Clone-Wars-1st-Day-Issue-08-NEW-Lot-of-8_W0QQitemZ110269966165QQihZ001QQcategoryZ751QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

And in all honesty, it's not even the seller - it's the idiots who buy this stuff for outrageous prices. I would say that over the past 13 years of SW figures that have come out, there are maybe 6 or 7 that are actually worth more than they originally cost. That's about it. Don't people realize how easy these will be to grab in another 2 weeks?

It's just like that old saying - "A fool and his money are soon parted". If idiots like this would stop paying outrageous amounts for figures, then the scalpers would die and go away.

This guy felt the need to pay $12.50 per figure so he could get them 2 weeks before somebody else.

The worst part is that the seller probably works at Target, WalMart or Toys R Us.

My comment was referring to sithmasterc's posts.  Thats cool to hear they're having one of those big displays though.  First i've heard of that.

There is one that houses figs and lightsabers, one with the voice changers and mid-sized vehicles (most of what they had on it was repacks however), and I have seen the pics of a display for the BMF.  I want to try to get one of the displays.  Don't know where I would put it, but I would figure something out.

I've got several displays and they really do take up a lot of room so good luck finding a spot for it.  I briefly thought about possibly trying to get one after reading your post but decided against it.  I might try for some banners or things that can be easily stored if there are any tho.

In my area in the past walmarts have brought the stuff out at midnight on pallets.  We've were allowed to open the cases and get what we want and we usually all helped out putting the figures that were left out on the pegs with the employees.  One walmart for the AOTC Saga MM started putting them out early but blocked off the aisles (there were 2 aisles full of sw figures Grin) with ropes and let people in to get them at midnight.  During ROTS MM a couple of the walmarts had a big tent set up outside in the parking lot that you could buy the stuff from that morning.  They had some freebie items and events for kids.  I'm betting they'll do like in the past and bring out everything on several pallets at midnight.  Targets don't do MM and will open at regular time in the morning with everything out on the shelves.

Yeah and WHAT stores will have the AT-TE, BMF and the rest of the CW lines. I am asking because I am sort of confused on where I need to go to get these 2 big items PLUS where I need to go get some exclusives IF ANY and CW figures. If anyone can sort of list WHO is going to have what or when, that would be helpful. I hate to sound like a dork, but a tad confused a little.
