Its odd that there is no thread on this already but hey. I went to see this before xmas with Jamie and its a pretty cool film. I had heard it was meant to be kinda like Narnia/ LOTR type thing and it didnt dissapoint. Being the first in a trilogy it kinda didnt kick off until near the end but i can tell the next two films will be great. I just started reading the novel Northern Lights which the film was adapted from so i can read the next two before the fims come out. Anyone else see this movie yet?

I haven't seen it yet, and there are a ton of movies that I want to see, so I'll probably wait for DVD on this one.

I wanna see this film for sure. I seen the trailer on the PS3 trailers section and it looks awesome.

i watched this the other nite on dvd. i actually thought it was pretty good. i hope they make the sequel.

Own it on DVD and it's AH,....OK but could have been a bit better in certain parts.

It starts off slow, if you can make it thru the first 45 mins it turns out to be an exciting film.
Once she gets the polar bear on her side the action heats up.
