Solvent for Superglue
« on: September 24, 2007, 11:20:32 AM »
Anyone know of a good solvent for superglue that won't damage plastic? When I made my newest custom a drop from attaching the head must have rolled down into the shoulder and it's frozen. Know, i wanna see if I can break it loose without ripping the arm off or having to scrap the whole figure.

You might want to test it on some similar plastic, but nail-polish remover will usually take that stuff right off.  Dab a q-tip into it and gently wipe/rub the glue off.  Work fast, tho, and use both ends of the q-tip.  The glue will try to set again and take a few strands of cotton with it, making the figure "shaggy".   :P
