Interior textures
« on: July 15, 2007, 07:02:54 AM »
Ok folks, recently I was being dragged to the scrap booking section of a local craft store and then it hit me. One of the things that I struggled with was getting the right look to some interior walls or carpet and other details in dios. Scrapbook paper.  I took a look at some of it and knew that was the cheap answer to trying to paint it. They had suede, velvet tones, mattes, and an seemiinly endless array of items that would lend perfectly for diorama builders. All for under a few bucks.

The reason I will be going this route rather than simply painting is that you will acheive a greater illusion of depth with these rather than a sinlge paint color, they add the underlying texture and distorts the light movement to look like a real wall covering.
