Your favorite POTJ figure.
« on: June 14, 2007, 07:39:03 PM »
This is a tough one for me. There were so many great figs. It's gonna take a lot of meditating in the Force to make this decision.
So what is your favorite? Or should I ask favorites?

very loaded question, I love the Sandtrooper, for obvious reasons, but I will ponder harder to see if another 1 or 2 jump out at me

That Coruscant Guard is just too cool. I wish they hadnt chaged his helmet for ROTS. The first one was so much better

Well I'd have to go with the 300th Boba fett, for the time he was one of the best sculpts ever done IMO, and he's one hell of a cool character and bounty hunter!
Agen Kolar is a very close second because he's Jedi and has a very good action pose.

Looking back I also think the 300th was the best figure of the POTJ run, They made alot of great figs and many first time releases, but the Fett was what any Boba fan was waiting for. Great display box, nice details.

Ditto that! There were lots of great POTJ figures, but that 300th Fett was definitely the cream of the crop.

Power of the Jedi was my favorite figure line. Altough the leaps in figure improvement started with the POTF2 Commtech figures, this line was so strong and I was blown away by so many of the sculpts. It was great to see a combined effort of prequel and original trilogy figures from Hasbro. I am a Han freak, so my favorite figure would obviously be the Bespin Capture Han Solo. A great stand alone figure that also had a lot of customizing potential. I was not impressed with the Death Star Escape Han. He was too pre-posed, lacked in articulation, and his face was kind of cartoonish. However I loved seeing him with the Stormtrooper belt!

My second favorite, spirit Darth Vader!
My opinion is just that, MY opinion. If you don't like it, just ignore it.

Right know my favorite POTJ is Qui gon jinn from mos isley and i love that figure so much as i would love too see him re-released in the 30th so that i could use him as a opener and put him along side the rest of my figures that are opened.
