Whats going on with CE Stormie Helmet?

I know that the pre order for the LE Stormtrooper Helmet went up the other day but do we know if they are still releasing a CE version. R2DToys has both listed and states they arriving in stock soon but i havent heard anything about the CE for a while, i really want to order a Stormie helmet but for obvious financial reasons i would prefer the CE to the LE. Anyone heard any news on this?

The R2DToys pre order is £99 for CE and £235 for LE, roughly double that if you want it in $.

Hmmm, since my salary is bigger after becoming a Ph.D. I might think of the CE one... Not sure yet where to display if getting it

I do not have a helmut in my collection but would like to get one eventually.

No we cant post a pic because both are pre orders and there is very little info on the CE except that it will be out this year.

Yes these are life size replicas. And yes other helmets have been made but Master Replicas havent made a stormie one yet i dont think. They have done mainly clones and Vader i think but theres a Boba one coming out this year. Don Post did a stormie one though i think and maybe rubies but i dont know much about that kinda stuff so i may be entirely wrong.

Yes both Don Post and Rubies made the stormy helmet. The don post classic action helmet is the best of those offerings and my personal opinion is the rubies flat out sucks.

I read on another forum that MR has scrapped the idea for a CE Version, so my pre order with R2DToys is a bit pointless then, Ive emailed them to ask if i can upgrade my order for the LE version as i really want this helmet. I hope i can sort it out.

I hope thats not true as I would like one of those stormie helmets but the LE price is a little out of my range just now with everything else thats coming out and CE in july

I really think that it is true, still waiting to hear back from R2DToys hopefully in the next few days. I hope they just upgrade my order, that would be easiest all round.

The LE is replacing the CE edition Helmet like you mentioned, in this case there will be a extra preorder charge to make of £46 to cover the upgraded item, the total price for the LE helmet is £235, this item should be with us in July / August
