I liked the first one and the Hulk grahics in the first one looked better as well, Maybe if I see it on the big screen it may change my mind.

It does look like a good story arc tho.

From the looks of the trailer of the 2nd installment of Hulk, it should be a knock out of the park. There is also a game that will be fronting the movie when the movie hits theaters on June 13, 2008.

Okay, this is one of the funniest things I've read in a while:

That was one of the better lines. I also liked "Please make new Hulk movie not suck Hulk's big green nards."

Looks like it might be good. Never been much of a hulk fan personally. Its usually just smash, smash and smash a bit more. This will be another film to go see with my marvel mad brother though.

Really Dan that's not saying too much, the first one was just painful to watch!

I like the look of the first one better, hopefully we get a better story. But it looks like the whole story has been told in the trailiers.  :P

I got a couple mojito's and never turned into the hulk kinda feel gypt.

As for the movie.  I thought it wasnt bad, not as good as ironman but not bad.  Lou and Robert D. Jr. were cool to see in there

I loved the respect paid to Bixby, Lou and of course the cameo by Stan Lee but I really like seeing Downey Jr. as Stark, it makes me want to go catch Iron Man again tomorrow!  ;D :P

I enjoyed the film and loved seeing it start connecting with other films with Stark and Nick Fury's name printed on that letter at the start. I'm actually looking forward to the next marvel film, unless its Wolverine. That guy is so overated.

Finally broke down and rented this on DVD last night. I went into this movie with pretty low expectations, based on how much I really despised pretty much everything about the 1st attempt. To be honest with you, I was stunned by how good this movie was. They really nailed the feel of the TV series at the beginning of the movie, right down to including some of the original music score. Really brought back the nostalgia. NOt to mention the great additions of the chameo's by Stan Lee, Lou Ferigno and the original TV Bruce Banner on TV from Father Knows Best. The performances all around were great. Norton pulled off the lone soldier hiding from himself and his demons perfectly. Liv Tyler(whom I normally can't stand) was excellent also, as well as Tim Roth. Although short of stature, his screen presence made him seem 7 feet tall, even before he, well, you know.
And for once, they humanized the Hulk just the right amount, showing us that Bruce actually is in there somewhere.

3 1/2 stars out of 4 (easily)

I saw this in theaters, and own it.

I thought it was everything the first hulk should have been. At least if marvel had tried that is.

The first movie was an abomination all around.

This movie was fantastic. Showing off all elements of the hulk that fans love and wanted to see. Ed Norton was gold, the tributes to Lou, Bill Bixby and Stan were great.
The musical score from the tv series, and the feel of the banner character, much like the tv show, where awesome and brought back a lot of feelings to me that I had remembered as a child in watching the hulk show.

This movie was leaps and bounds better than Iron Man imho. Yeah yeah I know Ill hear it cause I said that, but I don't care.

Iron Man was never one of my fav characters at all, Hulk top four favs of all time.

This movie should have grossed more money if more people would have given it the chance.

Well said. I was lamenting the fact last night that I didn't see this in the theaters and contribute the money to see it. I doubt we will see another one, as this one didn't bomb in the theaters but did not perform well enough to warrent another stand alone vehicle. I really can't say enough about how much I enjoyed this. And I agree 100% - I enjoyed it more than IronMan.

But this is what happens when a movie gets made that's horrible (see: Hulk, 2003) and then they try to give it another go. People like me who wasted money to see the first version won't spend another $20 for tickets to see the movie again.

I realize that this film is not the same, but after wasting time/money/gas/life watching that first film, there was absolutely no way I was going to bother with this film. I still haven't even seen it on dvd, and I don't think I'll bother with it at all, even though I've been hearing that it is leaps and bounds better than the first.

I just have a really bad taste in my mouth after that Ang Lee version.

all i can tell you is that i felt the exact same way...and was happily surprised by the effort. It almost took away the bad taste from the first one.

I felt the same way as your guys before seeing it.

But for goodness sakes it has Ed freaking Norton in it. Any movie he is in is golden in my book.

Seriously Dave give it a shot.

Besides if you go on that logic, why did we all see episodes 2 and 3 especially after 1?
