Mustafar playset
« on: April 17, 2007, 08:21:55 PM »
Anyone have one of these?
Are there pieces  or sets to connect to it?
I bought a loose one from BToys and am curious what I am missing.
The kids love the fire boulders.  :)

I eagerly anticipated this set, and searched high and low for it.  I finally found it, and it was good.  It's a little small, but still pretty cool.

I think the little linkages at the bottom are intended to attach to those ROTS Duel Sets...the ones that came with two figures and those little contol poles to make them fight.  It doesn't make much sense to attach those certain regions to Mustafar, but what do I know?

Anyway, the set should include the volcano, two lava boulders, two of the "arms" on which Vader and Obi-Wan fought, a plume of smoke that attaches to the side, a top that attaches to it, two circular platforms, and some little rope things from which the figures can hang.  Oh, and it came with twp figures.

I guess the only things I did not get with it are the two figs.
Was there platform to connect on the inside of the volcano?

You can even attach the Vader operating table inside the volcano if my memory serves me correctly. Why they did that is also another Hasbro mystery.

the vader table attaching to the inside of the volcano was one of hasbro's ideas to make it seam like they are all linked.

Ah ok, Seems more can fit in there, I should have just bought one in the box instead of a loose one. LOL

If memory serves me correctly, some of the ROTS figures came with bases that attached to this playset. Didn't they?

I have the set and the figures appeared to be exclusive to just the set. They're not very good figures. Rough face sculpts, especially Anakin.

Not sure if any more are besides the ones mentioned above.
I will be setting these up once my clean up and painting are done.

let me know if you need the figures for these playsets.. I have 4 sets and would let the figs go if you need them.
