saw some new videos during the outage and forgot to post when sandtroopers came back up. but anyway, they got new videos of the force unleashed game out. they can be seen here: http://www.spike.com/episode/26765?st=2970670 there are 4 total. make sure u watch all 4 videos completely as there r other games in the videos but they keep going back to fu. a couple new things were revealed in these: 1. on the back of the evolutions set it says the apprentices father is a fallen jedi. apparantley his mother is a jedi as well. besides the age factor, this eliminates quinlan vos's son as the apprentice. 2. the apprentice has a code name that starts with an S. wonder y this is a big secret? hope the S doesnt stand for secret apprentice or that will be a big letdown. 3. the fu kashyyk bp makes sense as u start the game as vader searching for an apprentice and all the footage of vader they showed he was fighting wookies on what appeared to be kashyyk. was the apprentice found on kashyyk or do u go elsewhere as vader? 4. several characters including bail organa and princess leia will be in the game. does this mean a trip to aldaraan? 5. vader sends the apprentice to the jedi temple to find out about himself. his parents identity maybe |

Exactly. I haven't heard an "official" time line for when the game takes place, but I'm guessing it's closer to the prequels era than the ANH era, which would make Leia a baby, or at best a small child. Not that she can't appear in the game as a child, but I'm not sure what exactly she would do... |

No, screenies were from the Wii, hence the jaggies and overall not awesome graphics. Next-gen consoles (360, PS3) will look a lot better supposedly. |

I'm surprised nobody mentioned the clearly visible buttons on the character selection screen. The "A" and "B" buttons should've been a dead giveaway to what system it was from. The graphics are probably sub par because the game is still in development, not because it's on the wii; while not as powerful as other systems, the wii doesn't have a problem with jagged edges.
The wii is next-gen too, not just the 360 and the pstriple. A generation is just the newest consoles released, not which ones have the prettiest visuals.

Actually the wii is just 2 game cube's ducktaped together. But yeah those screens are from the wii version. I might have read the article wrong, but I thought the jedi duel gameplay is only for the wii...but then again I could be mistaken....and I hope I am. Also according to the article I read, you definely want the PS3 version as far as graphics go.

The duel mode is only for the Wii. The graphics on the wii actually arent that bad. They are definatly worse than the PS3 and 360 but they are usually better than what that picture shows. I want the wii version even thought the graphics are worse, the duel mode will be cool and the controls will be awesome

I owen the Wii and the PS3, so I don't know now what I will get it for, but probly more then likely it will be for the PS3 as that is my first console and the Wii is just for the mario and few other games.

You're so right about the achievements.....I've been pushing off cheat codes on certain games (like GTA4) to keep from voiding out the achievements. It's weird, you don't get anything for them, but want them badly! |
