Thanks for the comments guys... I did two more today. These are for a friend of mine in Germany. He sent me some custom figures, so I'm sending him these. Hopefully he doesn't sneak in here and see them...

First up: a Mando. I kinda based this on some fan fiction I made up, thinking of it as a suit made of Mandalorian Iron with some crushgaunts...

For some reason, he reminds me of the X-Men's Colossus lol. I guess it's the red with the metal underneath.

Second one is my take on a Galactic Alliance Guard Trooper. These were the "secret police" created during the "Legacy" era that were commanded by Jacen Solo/Darth Caedus.

I made a GI Joe ninja Kamakura a while back, and it was my first GI Joe custom, but I wasn't 100% happy with it, and wanted to give it another shot. I've been working on my ninja skills lately, and have another 4 or 5 in progress... but Kamakura was the first one done:

Made from:

Head: Storm Shadow
Hood: Arctic Snake Eyes
Torso/legs: Storm Shadow
Upper arms: 1st Duke
Lower arms: Resolute Duke
Arm/Leg armor: VvV Kamakura, sliced off thin
Lower piece of tunic: VvV Kamakura
Sword: scratch built styrene w/red tape for handle
Sheath: coffee stirrer w/stip of suede

Thanks guys! I've been slacking a little, this is the first figure I've worked on in a week lol.

This is a mostly completed figure, I just need to do a few paint touch ups, I think I'll repaint the face/mask, and make some weapons (the ones in the photos are just stand ins)....

Pretty much a continuation of my recent/current ninja madness...

That's what it's called, Ages of Action. I couldn't remember the name, lol. It's the head/helmet/torso from that figure with some Resolute Storm Shadow arms/legs bashed on. I still need to fix the shoulders, to counter-sink them better, and then do something with the face, maybe resculpt the mask a bit, and then repaint it.

After I made my Arashikage Temple playset and it didn't sell on ebay (  Cry ) it rekindled my love for all things Ninja (so I guess it was kind of a good thing it didn't sell  Grin ) and I've been in Ninja mode ever since. I'm actually working on a larger diorama of a Ninja training facility now, and this temple will be a part of it... but a pretty small part  Wink

Anyway, here are a few of the Ninja Warriors I've been working on recently:

A lot more to come for sure, I have another 17+ ninja figures on the way!!  Shocked

Oh yeah, I have a few of those racks to place around the training compound. As well as several other little set pieces to add to it. If it comes out the way I have it envisioned in my mind it's going to be epic. But things hardly ever go as planned, LOL.

I know Hasbro has one coming later this year, but I really thought the character design was really cool being a fan of old school western flix, so I just had to make my own version of the newest bounty hunter on the block... Cad Bane!

Head - Mouse from comic pack
Hoses - Croc Master w/Arctic Snake Eyes spiked shoe piece
Hat - Indiana Jones w/LEGO canvas added for larger brim
Coat - Cade Skywalker
Torso/Legs - TAC Luke Jedi
Upper Arms - Anakin comic pack
Lower Arms/Belt - EVO Jango (trimmed a little shorter)
Hands - POTJ Duros w/ ball jointed wrists

I have a thing for bounty hunters, go figure lol and I'm a toy whore, and no doubt hasbro will make a debauchery of it.

I like his look, I just don't find him to be so bad assed as everyone else. He really didn't do anything to be considered so badassed.

He looks bad assed there is no doubting that.

Here's what I did...

I took a round cap from a medicine bottle that was the perfect size. I put it on the canvas and cut around it to get the circle. I cut an X in the middle and poked the IJ hat through. Then I took some thin pieces of wire and attached them to the bottom of the canvas with some super glue. I was actually hoping that when it was done you would be able to move the brim up and down somewhat, and change the shape of the hat. Well, that didn't happen, all that happened was the wire started to come loose, so I covered most of the bottom with superglue which turned it really hard, and then just painted it brown.

What kind of wire did you use?

That seems like a good way to create the hat.
When I was piecing together my idea for the custom I was thinking of using a joker hate from the btas series of toys. But it was too flat looking, perhaps if I used it with some kind of fabric on top of it, it wouldn't look so bad.

How is that arctic rex going?

It's actually wire used for making jewelry, and you can buy it almost any Michaels/AC Moore/craft store. I think it's either 20 or 22 gauge wire, pretty thin stuff.

As for Arctic Rex... yeah, he's resting comfortably in his little plastic holding cup, lol.
