:roflmao: People get worked up over nothing! I remember the protests when The Passion of the Christ came out. I also remember seeing some fights break out becasue people would throw stuff at them. I mean why waste your time with such BS... I saw Cars last night and I liked it. I actually liked it more than Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc. The animation was fantastic. Oh and I didn't see any protesters for the Da Vinci Code  ::)  If I was you I'd give your fellow worker crap Monday!  >:D

Saw this yesterday along with superman. This was a good film. I loved all the little gags and creative elements in it. Especially the "bug" flies!

For all you guys who loved Cars as much as I do, Disney/Pixar has announced that on December 12th, a new 3-D short, starring Mater & Lightning McQueen will be shown before the Bolt movie. Sure, it's a marketing gimmick to get people to go see Bolt (box office receipts are not very good for Bolt), but I'm not going to complain about getting 2 see these 2 in action again, even if it's just a short.

You can read the rest of the story right here:

I liked Cars but still believe that it was a bit overrated just like Finding Nemo. I'd rather watch Monsters Inc. again............Put that thing back where it came from!

Rumors are look for a cars sequel in 2011. But without the Judge, how good can it be? Damn, I miss Paul Newman.

The new Cars movie will be in 2011 they have been working on it since the first one went to the theaters. Doc Hudson and Filmore (George Carlin) will have to be different actors. There are other shorts out there as well. Supposedly these aired on either ToonDisney or the Disney in Oct but I never saw them until the other day on-line.

And I just told the GF the other night that they was making another one and she was oh no its a short film. I turned at her and said bull, they are making another one and the short film was to get people interested when it DOES come out in theaters.

I think we were already talking about this in another thread around here a while back. maybe the non-SW collectibles thread?

Not sure if I'll be lining up for this one. My boy is already starting to lose interest in 'Cars' and has moved on to other things like SW and Bakugan. I'm guessing two years from now his interest will be even less.
