POTF2 Epic Force Figures

A.D.I.T.L.1979:
This probably falls on the "far left" end of the Modern Toys line...but it's not quite vintage, so I'm posting it here.

Does anybody have information on the Epic Force figs...I understand that these were kind of the precursor of the Unleashed line.  I've seen pics but little info as to what they featured...or if they were "worth" the purchase, based on sculpts and "cool" factor.  I've seen some low-cost auctions on these for good condition, and thinking of buying a couple...but wanted to get opinions here first.

Well the line started in 1997 and ended in 1999 with the following releases:
1997
Bespin Luke
Boba Fett
C3PO
Darth Vader
1998
Stormtrooper
Princess Leia
1999
Darth Maul
Obi-Wan Kenobi
Qui-Gon Jinn

They were basically 6" items with a pretty good scuplt but they were ment to be kept in the package and were attached to a rotating base. I don't know a whole lot about these. I know they looked at producing other figures and had test packaging done for Han and Obi-wan (old). As for value I couldn't guess. I wouldn't expect anything to great though.

I've got a couple of these, but they are packaed away at the moment.  They looked cool, so I grabbed some.....
