I've seen these at my local stores and don't really understand why they cost $29.99? They don't seem to come with a lot of extras so why so much?

Different style packaging would be my guess.....and also the fact that Hasbro's hoping to nail a few vintage collectors this time around too :P

Well, it's in a vintage-style package and comes in a much bigger box than the Saga 12" figures.  It also has a much better piece of plastic protecting the front of the figure.  I don't care what anyone says about these, but I think they're worth the $30 I paid for them.  At least the Boba Fett and Stormtrooper are.

I tend to agree with Dustrho.  I'm not a 12" collector at all and I had to pick up the Boba Fett just because the whole deal looked SWEET!

I agree the protective box make the cost a value to me. I am a NON opener, So to have a protective box with the figure makes it all worth while for me.  ;D
