I really like the looks of that turbolaser too. Wow. I can see you making a trench run with that! Man, you need a humungous room to put all this great stuff in. I would pay to get in to see all those troops and custom creations! I am guessing  you are like me, resorting to rubbermaid once you get one project done and you start working on another.

Here is a simple darktrooper with arm articulation. I tore up a transformers megatron and took the arm and knee ball joints and dremeled some slots for the posts..

That looks really nice, and I want to do something similar as far as adding articulation... but tearing up something that expensive just for ball joints ain't gonna work for me... anybody have a cheaper solution? I was thinking about taking two of the MANY extra Vaders I have that has ball jointed knees and using those. But I want to try and add the better shoulder articulation as well.

Wow, oustanding upgrade Pete!  That's one thing about the Darktrooper that I've always thought was a letdown, the lack of articulation.  You did a great job fixing that!  And I like that Sandtrooper rifle for him too.  Great work!

I was able to get a couple megatrons with a ww gift card... so popping the limbs I went. Megatron is the only toy that had all black ball joints.. the others had white and black or purple and black... not an option as paint will most likely where off.. so making the forearms and upper arms slip together was the best way to go.. this was fun and have 3 more in the works..

Seeing those Darktroopers square off against the SBD's is pretty cool... and I love the articulated elbows.  Very well done.  It's a shame Hasbro didn't upgrade that figure on their own.

Also, the Separatist transport looks great.  It's always nice to see some love for the Seps, as usually what one sees if it's Clone Wars related is clones, clones and more clones.
