Sideshow 12 Inch figures

Sideshow/Weta Toys is going to be making 12" SW figures. There newest obi Wan although expensive look fantastic. My question is are these 12 in figures going to be very expensive like there previous figures or more attainable to more regular collectors. I look forward to seeing more about this in the near future. im not big on 12 in but i like Sideshow weta tons.. here is a pic of the 275 dollar figure ..kablam thats alot of green

They will be around the area of $50 bucks but the detail on these will be above anything you've ever seen in a 12" figure. Especially, anything you have ever seen in a SW 12" figure. SideShow Collectibles is the best in the business when it comes to this kind of thing.

I just saw that a new 12 inch figure will be released at the end of this week.  The new figure is a 12 inch Anakin skywalker figure.  I am very excited for this figure.  I pre-ordered the 12 in luke figure mainly  so I could have a complete collection when all of the order of the jedi figures come out.  I really hope they make yoda and qui gon.  Anybody else have any thoughts on the new order of the jedi 12 inch figures from sideshow.

These are incredibly cool, and I would love to own a lot of them, but the price point is greater than I am willing to spend.  For higher priced items of this calibre, I would much rather have the Kotobukiyas.  There are so many that I want now it is rediculous, and I still have yet to own ONE!

Pat,

I hear you with the price and I do like the kotobukiyas  better.  My issue is though, at least for the anakin figure, is that if I miss it now will I have to pay double or triple later.  Like you said there are so many great figures, and alot of them are from KOTOBUKIA.  I tend not to buy as many basic figures so I can save some money for the mini bust and statue type figures.  Even so some of these things cost so much that saving does not go all that far.
