New Look-

Well obviously you can see the forum has an all new look. We are still tinkering with this so bear with us. IT is phase 1 of a much need overhaul of Sandtroopers.com. Soon we will be tackling the main part of the site- the front page!

Stay tuned for this and some exciting new things here at Sandtroopers

I like it, lighter, brighter and it's about time for a new look I think!  And I'm very much looking forward to the changes...

The new look is really nice. A bit brighter and much easier to see things I think.

Looks great and is much brighter but still abit lost now on where you find the posts that have been replyed to. I so do miss that button. Any chance that button will be back? If not, I am going to be lost on this forum.

I was just coming on here to say you were crazy because that sounded weird and had nothing to do with the upgrade.............

Then as I was replying, it happened to me.


BUT I am right- it did have nothing to do with the upgrade. Apparently the error has been around for a few weeks.
All should be well now- I think I found them all. Just let me know if it happens again!

I use the "replies to previous post" and "new posts since last visit" links everytime I visit the site. Please advise if this will be put back in.
The old look was fine with me, kinda bright since I use a large monitor.

I think it looks good. Especially when posting. Everything is much "bolder"
But I have to say. That the brown/tan kinda reminded me of the Tatooine sand. Thought that was a nice touch. With that said. This "POPS" more and is really user friendly

Thats the aim- it needed to pop.
Trust me- Im all about themes and keeping within a theme but running theJawa for 3 years with the rusty sandcrawler color- that color needed to go and so does the mismatch on the front page.

So is the links at the top right what you guys were referring to?

I did like the real movie Sandtroopers pix instead of pixelated ones.
I thought they gave forum "authentic" look.

Yes, and it seems  if I don't click exactly on the link the whole top part fo the page links to the frontpage and it's driving me nuts.

You can always request anything- doesnt mean youre getting it-  ;D

But I see what you mean now. Actually dont use the links or I wouldve caught it sooner. I will certainly take a look at it. I think its a simple fix but I may be looking into a new similar theme entirely. Just got diverted- once its final you will have 2 distinctive links.... that I can assure you.
