Went to se this again last night and if it's possible, I think I enjoyed it more the second time round. I also picked up the soundtrack from HMV. Seriously, if you haven't seen this already, you need to go before it stops showing.

It's the only film this year (so far) I've gone back to see repeatedly since it came out. I simply love the film. I know that many may disagree, but they got so much right with the picture that I sincerely hope this trend continues with the pending big screen versions of He-Man, Thundercats and GI Joe. Hell, I say revisit D&D and do it RIGHT this time - i.e. adapt the premise of the T.V. series. Oh, the possibilites! Roll on the sequel - Dinobots and special teams please!

What is D&D

D&D = Dungeons and Dragons my friend! They could even bring back Peter Cullen  (Optimus Prime) for that one too - he did the voice of Venger! Seriously, After the abortion that was that pre-LOTR cash-in that New Line put out in 2000-2001 (I forget when), and what with the reboot/sequel of The Incredible Hulk on it's way, it's time for Hollywood to grow a pair and dive back in and do the Dungeons and Dragons property justice. Oh yes! :D

Here's some funny news I ran across on siebertron.com The good news HD instead of Blu-Ray!

Michael Bay: "No Transformers 2 for me!"
The battle over the new DVD formats, HD and Blu-Ray, continues after yesterday's announcement from Paramount and Dreamworks stating that their future DVD releases would only be available on HD-DVD. Michael Bay has expressed his opinion about this on ShootForTheEdit.com in a forum post titled "Paramount pisses me off!": "I want people to see my movies in the best formats possible. For them to deny people who have Blu-ray sucks! They were progressive by having two formats. No Transformers 2 for me!" (Posted: Tue Aug 21, 2007 2:44 am)

Michael Bay: "So I think I might be back on to do Transformers 2!"
"Last night at dinner I was having dinner with three Blu-Ray owners, they were pissed about no Transformers Blu-Ray and I drank the kool aid hook line and sinker. So at 1:30 in the morning I posted - nothing good ever comes out of early am posts mind you - I over reacted. I heard where Paramount is coming from and the future of HD and players that will be close to the $200 mark which is the magic number. I like what I heard. As a director, I'm all about people seeing films in the best quality possible, and I saw and heard firsthand people upset about a corporate decision. So today I saw 300 on HD, it rocks! So I think I might be back on to do Transformers 2! Michael Bay"

Follow the links on what I gave, so you can see what I am talking about on the pics of the USA box of the movie. The USA box looks to be like the posters that came out for this movie awhile back.

Anybody know the different exclusive Transformer DVD versions out there.  I have been seen a Walmart 2-disc set with Cybertron prequel.  I know K-Mart and Target have their exclusives too, I just don't know what the differences are.  What about Best Buy do they have an exclusive?  I am trying to see which one I want to get.

I just picked up that version today at Target. As long as it has the movie in there and a few extra video goodies, I'm all happy.

Finally got to see this friday night. I'm not a Transformers fan, but I was still blown away. Special FX were amazing, acting was good (except for Turturro - I wish he would stick to B movies - his acting style just sticks out too much for this type of movie) and Megan Fox is super hot (she jumped all the way up to #2 on the boz's top 10 list). Bring on TR2 (T2 is already taken).
