Superman the movie is a classic, the soundtrack, the actors, special effects. This new guy is very 1960s TV superman. And he could very easyily become the color of his boots, a maroon...Unlike other comic heros superman has alrdy been done really well and even with new special effects it is hard to improve on that. I will see it but my thoughts about it are alrdy jaded. I mean who can touch richard prior as a computer genius.....

I think they should give you at least ONE good look at Superman, I think it looks alright!

As much as I am a fan of the original film or set of films I was impressed with batman begins and from seeing what singer did with the Xmen I am hopeful. I think having kents childhood in the new film is dumb (especially since the 1st movie was a damn good "beginning") and since this one is after events of superman 2 but other than that I am curious to see how it turns out. I think that they picked a good guy to play as superman and I'm sure a lot of females will say the same thing. And Ms. Lane ain't that bad looking as well  ;D. The only thing that I am hoping that doesn't happen is that it doesn't turn out to be a "batman begins" movie.

I didn't know this was coming out. It looks to be interesting. I definitely liked the originals a bunch. I am more of an originals person rather than remakes. Even though I did like Batman returns just as much as the earlier ones. Plus I liked The Longest Yard as well this year.

Ya know, I wasn't too impressed at first look at the guy in the tights, but that teaser definitely makes me more eager to see it!  I'll definitely be getting a good seat for this  one!

I'll be all in to see this movie too.  Deny it if you wish, but we ALL aspired to be Superman as kids.  Hell, some us still do in some ways.  This trailer does make it look even better.  I can't wait!

I watched the new trailer last night and though it looks good I might just wait to see it on dvd. There are a couple of other movies I want to see more than this but it does look interesting. Somehow I miss seeing Gene Hackman as luthor....

I had no excitement for this film whatsoever, but the trailer has piqued my curiosity...I'm not sold on seeing this in the theaters, yet, but who knows.  It looks like Singer is avoiding the "dark and more dark" approach to superhero films as of late, capturing the original comic book optimism and matching it with modern sensibility and realistic nuance.  I just hope they keep the silliness down to a minimum (the whole bird, plane gag at the end of the trailer seemed tired to me).

And, wicked, while Gene Hackman made a GREAT Lex Luthor....can you imagine anyone else BUT Kevin Spacey taking over the role now? :)

Spacey IS one hell of a Lex Luthor.  Seems more of a perfect fit than Hackman, who was great as well.  I am more interested in seeing this now more than ever.  Still not in my top 3 films of the summer, but will have to check it out in theaters.

About four years ago, when Spacey cameoed as Dr. Evil in the movie within a movie in Austin Powers: Goldmember, I had thought that he might make a good Lex Luthor in a Superman remake...guess I was right...

Eh, yeah I love spacey but Hackman has made me mold him to Lex, as with Christopher Reeves as Superman. Though the new guy is a good choice in my book. I went to see mission III the other day and they only had the Teaser to Superman but for some odd reason the Full Trailer is online, kind of bites if you ask me. Though I think the film will do well in the theater, I do think that it won't out-due Batman. Also, I don't know why there are flashbacks of Kent's childhood...? I really think that they are doing a Batman Spin-off!!!!!

As much as I'm looking forward to finally seeing a new superman movie after so many years, it doesn't have that feel it did with Chris Reeve. I will go see it in theaters as it does look like it will be good, as I hope it is. If this Trailer is any barometer then it should be good!

Well I saw the Newest trailer with Xmen and I will say that It looks much better that what I had thought though a little too much CGI! I'm 50-50 on this as I am having the feeling that it's going to have that "Blockbuster" summer film thing going on and not the elements that made the 1st superman that well done..... I really am interested in seeing it though but as far as seeing it on the big screen I might just pass....

Well after seeing X3 I really hope this is the movie of the Summer because I was a bit dissappointed in the third installment, and need a real good movie to remember.
