Hasbro revenue misses on weak sales in preschool, boys lines 10-2012

Not a big surprise here but I think Hasbro only has themselves to blame - the crappy case assortments are to blame along with the clueless business practices. Get product out there and don't think for a moment those pods are action figure substitutes - these guys that put them out need a slap!

Other than that - I  have no strong feelings on the subject!

Yeah, this year has bennett pretty craptacular for SW figs. 2010, 2011 I could go to the store and find a cool figure most trips. I don't know what happened.

I have followed Hasbro;s #'s for quite some time.
Hasbro has NOT posted a profit per share since 08.
They had losses on every Quarter since 08 of at least .04$ per share.
They are no different than any other Big Company & has made cuts on everything?
I have noticed that since 2009? Has finding stuff not been next to impossible?

Yes Hasbro has been falling apart the last few years. Cutting everywhere and still have to raise prices for new items and a lot of repackage repacks. Even their Marvel line could look better like the Starwars figures and such. Bringing out other items or names to able to sell Starwars instead of sticking to the Core Products of the Starwars Brand that really sells. If they spend more time and money of designing new Starwars toys instead of Pods, Angry Birds, Etc. We probably would be happier and they might have a better profit with their Starwars line. But who knows anymore. Maybe Hasbro should have the Lego people take over the Starwars product. They seem to know their stuff.
