The dark night rises new batman movie

Any one seen this yet?  I know the movie has been all over the news cause that crazy bastard killed those poor folks in Colorado, but has anyone actually seen the film?  I found the 1st two to be a bit dark, but still want to see this new batman movie.  Liked the 90's versions better.  Just curious if the movie was any good.

I plan to see this tonight in 3D IMAX. I loved the first one and the second one was one of the best movies/stories I have seen.

I liked all the previous movie as well, but like in comics there a lot of varying titles with light versions and dark versions and I think the movies have given us that.

Good movie - saw it at a Regal stadium seating for the midnight show, now going Sunday to see it on IMAX!! RISE!!

I don't know, I really didn't like this one out of all three.  There are too many reasons why but I think this one fell way short of the previous two.

I haven't seen it either. Maybe this week. But this is what I've heard from anyone who has seen it. I heard Batman is in the movie for a total of 20 minutes or so, which is disappointing if that's true.

I watched all three last week and TDKR was easily my favorite, and my son's as well.  I didn't think it would be able to live up to The Dark Knight, but after re-watching it, I realized that The Dark Knight had a few too many slow moments for my tastes.  YMMV, of course.

I watched it last Saturday night, I liked it. It could have been better but you need some of the slow parts of the movie to build the story. I was hoping for a little more, and a more suprise momnets, but I won't say to avoid any spoilers. But now that someone does mention 20 mins of the DK, it may be more like 30 mins. :-\

The Joker and TDK is still may favorite of the three.

I don't know, I STILL s**t my pants when I watch the "fake" Batman get hung in TDK and I KNOW it's coming. There was NOTHING like that in this movie.  :-\

IMAX really made the movie better... the theatre shook - I loved the toys!!

Bought the target 5 figure pack which gave me a free coupon to watch this movie.  Pretty dang good movie. Nice surprises toward the end. Way better than the last one. One nice shot from the back of cat woman bent over low, riding the bat cycle. Prrrrrrrr

Just curious Dan, did you read Knightfall, Knight Search or Knights Quest in the DC comic books?  I don't know I just can't see what was so good about it.  Maybe I need to see it again? I really thought it blew.  :-[ :-\

Not much time to read these days, busy farming.  I found this one much better than the drawn out joker one,  though I didn't like how much they glorified bane's social views. But then it's just a movie.  I still liked the 90's versions best.
