Hasbro has cancelled the Mandalorian Assault Transport and Entertainment Earth has stopped taking pre-orders.
With Wal-Marts in my area making the SW section smaller to make room for Spider-Man and Batman.
What the HELL is going on?
Is the line doomed?

Yeah EE  canceled my two preordered mando ships.  Glad I got one on eBay.

Yes it is. China continuing economic decline & the rest of the world. These Big Co's know the fisical cliff is coming &
not just here but everywhere. My retailers have NOTHING even remotely new. There is nothing on order.
Shelf space keeps shrinking with the same TPMs & Movie Heroes on the shelves.
I may just quit buying Hasbro's crap all together? I can't find anything new & nobody else seems to either & if they do?
They want way too much for them. Do they think were stupid & desperate? I'm desperate & NOT stupid, I've collected my whole life.
I know whats a fair price & what is just silly stupid. I spend over 15k a year on SW, from SS, GG, MR, Kotu, etc. & Hasbro?
It may be time to only focus on hi-end & leave the Hasbro garbage alone, since I can't locate any & no one else can either.
I honestly don't think Hasbro cares if I collect or not? So fXXX them!! I will take my disposable income to someone who appreciates my business
& loyality.

All things must end. Really, though. How long have we been collecting? Me personally, since 96 or 97 when the line was remade. 16 years is a pretty good run for anything, much less a toy line. I love the hobby, and I know you guys do, too. But we may just have to find a new hobby. Or save that money. Or buy crack. Whatever. Im just saying its been a long time. Vintage line is a super awesome line to go out on!

I have been in this since 77.. yeppers I am old and always been a fanatic... well.. if there is nothing worth buying - it is not going into the collection or even worth being made into a custom.. oh well.. sad really but hopefully Mattel will do better on its action figure lines.. the batman rises stuff is almost there.. gotta add a little bit more articulation and we will have a new player in the ring... the vehicles may be worthy of dremeling into some mando vehicles..

I doubt all of star wars is cancelled, it's just this ship or maybe just the clone wars line in its current form.  I'd bet the ship shows up again with additional tooling to look like the season 5 appearance. Below is the letter EE sent me

That sucks bad, I'm still fingers crossed it'll come.  I can't believe I didn't put more emphasis on grabbing one...  WE can only hope the bulls**t sitting there will clearance someday and they'll make more TVC vehicles we want before they go on "hiatus" with it.  Rebelscum posted a great rumor list (no photos) of a Speeder Bike (with E-Web Cannon), AT-AT (BAT-AT Endor) and the Slave I. (like we didn't know that s**t was coming when commanderphoenix uncovered it 2 years ago)  For those of us who wanted this in the Shadows package, the Scalpers just got a new favorite I'm afraid.  I read on Jedi Defender someone just paid $100 for a US box, I thought that was a "great deal"!  :-\

There are three of these on ebay right now. Rangeing in price from $65.00-$109.00.
All three are located in Canada. Looks like they were only available to nanook of the north.

THIS TOTALLY SUCKS!!! I hope it comes back out this fall in a new form. Never showed up in my area. Just like when the Ywing Scout fighter that didn't show up either. Anothe lame move that Hasblo has made again.  >:(

I wouldn't be surprised if these show up at TJ Maxx or something, as others have suggested. I guess the silver lining of this big stinky Hasbro fart cloud is that those of us who are lucky enough to find it at the discount chains will probably be paying a lot less for it than we would've been had it made it to Target, TRU, etc. :) If it exists in US packaging then I'm sure this will be the case. And I also wouldn't be surprised to see it released down the road in a different line look, since the Mandos will have a big Clone Wars presence from the looks of the Season 5 trailer.

It's still pretty freakin' lame though. Yet another sad statement about how horribly mishandled distribution has been and will continue to be unless Hasbro makes some kind of big change to the way they're doing things. :-\

Bad news from Comic-Con today for this Canceled Stuff thread. Seems Pong Krell [confirmed for the line last year in a Q&A at EBN] is being postponed/possibly "canceled" according to Derryl DePriest. Found this out when I was being shown around the Hasbro booth today and I brought Krell up. Mr. DePriest said, "definitely will not be in the 2013 line anymore." :(

Maybe down the road I guess? Krell seems to me like the kind of character that could fit in with the realistic line well enough if released as an action figure in a couple years (at which point the animated Clone Wars line may or may not exist).
