I troll Craigslist daily for Star Wars and I thought it would be fun to post finds, good or bad, on ST. Here's the first, a star wars plane with a Luke Walker figure for $15. I emailed the guy, BTW.
Update: picking it up Thursday. Saweet.
Update of the update: picked it up today. Now I have 2 big xwings. My rebel hanger is gonna look awesome.

I've checked on some stuff with Craigs list here in Ktown & it hasn't been good & the people who had it & where they were located
were just not worth it. We got some sketchy places here in the hills of TN, the inspiration for the movie "Deliverance" is 1 county over?!

I've looked at other town's CL and there isn't really too much as far as figures and other toys. Mostly video games and Taco Bell cup toppers. I guess Pittsburgh and surrounding is pretty good. I picked up some good stuff for cheap here. A few moths ago I scored the new Falcon and about ten figs for for $50. Couple years ago I bought a lot of about 50 guys and three ships for $30. Getting the "Star Wars plane with the Luke Walker figure" tomorrow for $15. I'm an opener anyway, so I can find some good deals.

I live in Chicago and I've heard far too many stories about people putting ads on Craigslist and then getting rolled when the go to inspect the merch. I've got better things to do than get robbbed / my ass kicked.

Pretty much everything around here is broken or over priced. I ended up buying once a few boxes but they were WAYYYYY over priced. Hubby needs to learn to keep his mouth shut. Not near worth what we paid

Its got a certificate, so im gonna say definitely maybe. Although Luke is my favorite character, and Mark Hamill is the sh*t, I can't get it. I also saw on CL a 8mm projector and a 8mm copy of SW. Im gonna email the guy next payday. Maybe he'll still have it.

The problem I have with Craigs list besides the "seller"? Where do they get their pricing? & do they know when crap
is open, bent , broken or just WRONG. They all think they're sitting on a fortune & they have the same things we all have? but there's is better?

I wish I could sell some of my duplicates over past 20 yrs & get their prices.

Guy is selling his whole collection for $1200. I don't think its worth it because there's alot of POTF and then silly stuff like SW bandaids and TV Guides.
