Need Help with new Custom Project

My Goddaughter is heading off to college this fall (she is a bigger staw wars geek than I am), and I promised her a cool Star Wars item for her dorm room, and after a long time of thought, I got my idea......a fish tank...but not just any fish tank.....



I want to make a Luke in bacta Fishtank.

I have a 10" and 12" Diamater acrylic cylinders, and I can make the all the fishtank related items.

What I do need help with is making the Luke figure.  I have never worked with 12" figures before, and I have no idea where to start to get one that is in poor condition so I can start experimenting and not feel bad when I destroy it trying my ideas out.  I assume I would need to customize the facemask and Luke's "Swim trunks".  Does anyone know of any resources (websites, videos,etc) that I can look out so I can teach myself how to do that?  Or better yet, anyone willing to do it for me?

My suggestion would be to contact hemble I'd bet he'd be up to the task if available.

There is a custom aqaurium buiding show on Animal Planet, I have no clue of its name?
I did see several SW enviro tanks & LOTR etc.. & NOT CHEAP. If I didn't have a cat? I'd love a Calamari or Hoth or Kamino tank.

Inside the tank might be the safest place from a "Godfather"?!?
