Well friends,fans & collectors that time of year has arrived this upcoming May & June Star Wars Weekends will start again! First brand new news is that for our hosts this year will be the same great tag team as last year. Voices of Obi-Wan Kenobi & Ahsoka Tano= James Arnold Taylor (Main Host of the event) & Ashley Eckstein (Co Host as well as main host for "Behind the Force" show) Now they did a fantastic job last year & I'm sure this year they'll do an even better job. More new will come very soon so for now share your thoughts on what you expect out of this event here in the sunny state of Florida!

I went last year for the 1st time. I am a huge Disney Fan too, and I thought this is going to be awesome. I am probably in the minority, but man was it just like wow. From what I understand, it used to be awesome, and it is just getting worse with the staff not knowing whats going on.

The way the merchandise tent was for this, for the people who go asap, it was just insane. if you wanted the exclusive stuff, you waited in a line, and when you got to the table you kept going down the line like a cafeteria, but the merchandise repeated at least 4 or 5 times. I was in shock of why it took 3 hours to wait in line when they could have had 4 or 5 different lines going and moving at once.

Don't get me wrong, Anthony Daniels one man show was awesome and james arnold taylors show is something you can not miss.

It would take alot to get me to go back on a SWW, but it is something I glad I did.

This is a pretty good Guest list and if I had to go to just 1 weekend, it would be weekend 4.
Its nice to see some of these names like jerome, silas,michonne, and nika. But I have a feeling they might get over looked at a place like this, especially since you can only get 1 autograph per ticket. (thats what the rule is, but I people getting other getting different celebs too)

most of the people who go to Hollywood Studios on those days have no idea what Star Wars Weekends is

I feel bad for complaining about both Disney and Star Wars because I love both so much, and like I said, I am probably in the minority. Plus I don't have alot of patience for big lines lol

I agree my friend I went last year for my 1st time as well & when I found out that you could only meet the celebs with a ticket I went nuts. I mean it's dumb how u have to go suuuupppperr early to try & see if u have any luck getting a ticket at 6am.. But I asked people for different advice & the best 2 were:
1) wait until the celebs walk off the stage after the motorcade & meet them behind it &
2) be in their line as a (walk in) at their last autograph session & hope that the line is short for you to go in & meet them. Both worked for me cause off the stage I got to see up close Ray Park & Jeremy Bulloch but I actually got to meet James A Taylor. As for the walk in, after hrs of standing in the hot sun I had a chance to meet Matt Lanter. It was so worth it but this year will be even better. I wanna meet Ashley,Ray,Silas & Jake Lloyd. We'll see how strong the force is with me

More news friends! as you may know online there has been several reveals on what to expect at this years Star Wars Weekends but now theres more reveals on some merchandise that we will be able to get our hands on very soon. SWW will start from (May 18-June 10). We'll be able to purchase things like Disney exclusive opening weekend and limited-edition pins, boxed pin sets and a framed pin set,Darth Vader's chest t-shirt with detachable cape, 3 new figures: Donald Duck as Darth Maul as well as a few other cool items. This year's logo will be based on Donald as the menacing Sith Lord Darth Maul,created by Tyler Dumas and Casey Jones from Disney Design Group. This logo is made in celebration of Ep I in 3d. You know, it bugs me that these are a Disney exclusive. They made special heads just for this and the average SW fan can't always head to Disney for stuff like this. I'd have rather seen this type of thing come back in a new BAD line or add a couple of these on a card in the basic figure line.

Hey my friend I have a recommendation for you. Even if you don't get a fast pass for Ray Park make sure you go to his booth and stay in front of it and if he's leaving call his name a million times (not literally) he'll come to you and give your son a autograph and a photo. Cause he's always making sure to get to as many people as possible. Don't leave even if the guards tell you otherwise. Good luck

Has anyone gone already this year and done the Carbon Freeze Experience? I am going to sign Lucas up for it but can't really find any feedback on it since it is new to SW Weekends. $100 is wayyyy too much in my opinion, but it will be worth it if he has a good time.

I finally moved back to Florida a few months ago and we did the opening weekend with my 501st Legion Bros and Sis'.
It was a bit overwelming with all the younglings running around but thankfully I just did the parades this year and didn't go in the park
as a paying customer quite yet. I still have many more weekends to go be in the parade but do plan on getting in and enjoying it from a fans perspective.
All you Carbon Freeze peeps may want to get on the search engine as the guy that makes these does them outside Disney for less then half the cost.
I believe I was told the price is around $30 and not close to a $100. I'll search around myself too just incase nobody is able to find the info.

Here's a few pics from the parade, I did a major over haul on my Darth Reven costume just for this event and man when I tell you it was hot, you could melt butta on my mask lol

Sorry for the late reply bro, been pretty crazy in my area with the recent tropical storm.
I was hoping to go this weekend but at this time I still can't say for sure if I'm going to go.
I had to sign up for each parade and was waiting on some cash to come in so that has happened
I just need approval from my Garrison CO to attend but I'm pretty sure it's all good but mainly
was going to do the parade on Friday or Saturday but planned to enjoy the park on sunday
so it would be great to meet you and hang out.

I'll send you a PM later this evening or or the latest tomorrow to let you know for sure
that way we can get a game plan together.
