I got mine last week and opened both

the Porkins does not look much like the actor who played him
this figure is just some random fat guy in an orange suit

and I am orange suited out!
Hasbro, please give the pilot figures a rest, especially the orange suits
oh and please please please update that TIE Pilot mold

as for the other set, at first I was all happy and excited to get so many spare ewok hoods but now I realize I don't have any need for them
after swapping them out a couple of times I ended up liking the way the come packaged the best

My TRU got 1 case of these & they were damaged & price of $40 each made them easy to pass.
Especially when last years TRU exclusive set is sitting next to them for 40% off? These may be discounted before Xmas season?

Haven't seen these sets yet in my area or at a TRU in Buffalo, NY. Hopefully soon and have some type of discount for them. Like buy 1 and get 1 50% off would be nice.

Debbie Downer alert!

Im not impressed at all with the pilot pack. Two of them may as well be twins and Porkins looks like he has been on the subway diet. And another faceless TIE pilot. I have at least four of this same exact figure. For $40 they should have made a better pack. This one is just more of the same. No thanks until it goes on clearance.

Yeah I think at SDCC they said they had to make him smaller so he'd fit his ass in the X-Wing!  There's upside to the body not being scale.  :)

I saw these last week & passed, TRU only got in 1 case & it was damaged bad enough to skip.
Price of $39.99 each? & Porkins looks more like Sansweet than Porkins? Tie Pilot looks like he's got the wrong size gear on?

I'll take an accurate looking Porkins & would LOVE to have custom X-wing with cockpit big enough

Accurate Porkins. Ha Ha What would we do if Hasbro did their job right in the first place. Oh wait, we had a vote in our Hasbro meeting this week, lets add more repacks of past figures for 2013 and charge even more money.
I will pass on the pilot set for now, but would get the ewok set when I do find it.

I would like to wait until they go on sale, but what kind of chance do we take when new figures are scarce everywhere. $40 is a high price for these, but TRU doesn't have too many sales lately. My local TRU don't have them yet, so I can wait a little longer.

That will probably depend on each market? My TRU has last 2 years of exclusives just sitting there?
This close to Xmas over stocking? You never know? but $40 ea? I can wait & see & hope?

I picked up a set of ewoks, I have a vintage ewok play set and I buy new ewoks anytime the come out. I had a couple of items to return to TRU and got the set for 13.00 bucks .

Got the Ewok pack about a week ago, I may grab a second pack to display them with both sets of accessories. I was so excited for that Kneesa figure that I actually got an extra Wickett to display with her, c'mon hasbro, let's make a bearded Logray next!

My TRU had a ton of both sets in house still at $40. Waiting for them to go on sale some day by Christmas.
