Here's a better look at the Duel of Naboo and Bespin Battle Battle Packs!

There will come a time when your training ends. There will come a day when you have learned all the lessons, when all my knowledge of the dark side will be yours. On that day you will challenge me for the title of Master, and only one of us will survive the encounter.

See these seem to be geared more towards being "collectible" and not the average crap ass battle packs we've grown used to seeing.  Take the last 3 for example, the only one that did ANY kind of sales is the one with the Clones in it and the Bomb Squad Trooper wasn't even that damn good.  >:( :-\

Without the cards and the dice, nothing about these are appealing. Like most of us say "How many Vader's do we need?"

You could do 3 of about anything else but I DO see the attempt at appeal on these, I'm not sure if they're for me though.  :-\

It sucks battle packs are rehash crap mostly. :'(  But on Friday I used Targets 50% off deal and got the Republic Troopers Battle Pack, its the only thing worth buying that I didn't have yet. Otherwise my local target has jack crap once again for anything new.  ???

This years battle packs are so bad, not a single one is good. It's ridiculous how hasbro has been using TONS of old figures. They must know that all of us aren't purchasing these figures.... I hope this year gets better cause if they keep. This up who knows if they'll continue to make SW toys for another 10 years!

I had heard somewhere Hasbro has the SW franchise rights until 2018, so only 6 years left to go.

They'll renew but if they keep tanking the line maybe not...  Maybe they're doing crap years on purpose! It'd be the only way to explain the mess that's out there now.

Unless there is a new movie, or live action TV series, I dont see SW toys on the shelves for another 6 years, the way they are going, and w/ this economy....2-3 years tops IMHO. Hasbro has been throwing re-hash figs at us for about 10 years now, with no sign of stopping anytime soon.
We are a extreme fighting force of extraordinary magnitude !!!
