Remember when Han said that the Falcon made the Kessel Run in twelve parsecs? Well, obviously Solo never went to college, because a parsec is a unit of distance, not time. YOU FAIL, STAR WARS WRITERS!  ;D

You just assume they meant. What if the Kessel run was get from point A to point B in the shortest possible distance and to make it in twelve parsecs you had to go though a dangerous area. To do that you would need to have a fast ship thus saying the Falcon was fast indirectly  ;)

besides whos to say that a parsec IS even distance- just because its like that in our world doesnt mean its the same in theirs.

I mean they can survive in space w/out a pressure suit but we cant
