Snowspeeder 2010 repaint
« on: October 02, 2010, 08:14:17 PM »
hi guys, it's been a while. i have been very busy this year =/
i want to show you this general repaint on the new snowspeeder. as usual, i use only brushes and acrylic paints, put some weathered, battle damage, some paint details and vouloir. I based my repaint on the master replica model, but with a more dirty look

Before picture (i forget to take more before pictures :(  )

after pictures

hope you like :)

That looks incredible! Love the accuracy in the paint job and weathering is well done. Great job on it!

There will come a time when your training ends. There will come a day when you have learned all the lessons, when all my knowledge of the dark side will be yours. On that day you will challenge me for the title of Master, and only one of us will survive the encounter.

Rodan you always kill it on the paint apps! Nice looking upgrade! It looks like it's a true rebel ship now!

I know I'm not the only one who is glad to see Hasbro give us the choice on the back harpoon gun!

Mate awesome work this is the way it should have looked from the box, I really love the way you have captured the wear and tear on the speeder 10/10.

Darn it Rodan, you outdid yourself again. I've been flirting with this new Snowpeeder and this is exactly what I needed. Habro is making justice to this one!

Thanks for the pics, I see the latest snowpeeder has receded panel lines instead raised ones along with improved tooling details. This make a whole lot of difference  :o

I've been waiting for Target to drop them to $19.99 but I'm off for one today. Thanks for sharing y Que la fuerza te acompaņe!

Look at the difference between receded and raised panel lines.

Looks awesome! What paint did you use if you don't mind my asking?
