Last night Sideshow Previewed the Gamorrean Guard 12-inch Figure. Preview of the full figure is this upcoming week with the PO on Thursday of next week.

Actually, it will be cool to see this one come out, because then all the people that bought the Hasbro version will dump them for cheap and I can pick up a dozen for what it would cost me to get a Sideshow version.

Man, that would go GREAT with my Jabba SS setup. I might end up getting the regular version since the exclusive is it seems lately just some stand.

Looks cool. Its not supposed to have much articulation if I remember correctly from SDCC last year. It looks like they did use real material on it. Price wise I'd say something like $65 bucks.

I say at least 100 or better.  They won't sell it more than once so I'm sure they'll want their money. Plus they KNOW all us with the Jabba WILL buy them.  :-\

It very well could approach $100. A lot will depend on the quality of materials involved which SS is usually quite top notch on.

You know this figure was in the planning stage when SS came out with the Throne works. I agree with you Spicey baby. Not everyone with a SS Jabba will buy the G-Man but you know that the majority of them will.
As for the price, it's gotta be at least $100.00 along with it probably being a one time issue item.

The detail looks as if it could be the most realistic figure Sideshow has produced so far. I like the idea of the drool being an add in.

They showed and talked about him last year at SDCC. So its been in the works since then.

Wishful thinking on my part. lol $65 is probably the lowest it would be and it could come in that but when I say nobody sells things at that range I'm talking about things like the normal 1:6th figures. This has a chance just because its gonna be more mini statue like.

You really think so? You don't think they will Sideshow-ify it with all the usual articulations? Why not? If it just has the normal 5 POA then it's no better than a Hasbro figure IMO. Sure, it will look a little prettier, but without the POA it's not worth it.

I have to agree with you guys cause with the SS pieces I've ever seen I've NEVER seen any of them any less then 100 clams since I been buying into it. Which has been for about a 1yr and half now actually.

I don't recall how much POA its gonna have I'm pretty sure its gonna be mostly statue like if memory serves me correctly.

GEEZ is this their new price point for everything now in 1/6th scale?  Why not just go the HotToys route and make it all $179ish?  Looks like I may skip this one after all...and I really wanted one!

All that hard living is I guess why hes got a beer gut cause after all that drinkin, those 1$ double cheese burgers from McD's didn't sound bad. I can believe that hes priced more then Jabba cause with SS doing this they already know that people want him no matter what to go with their Jabba setup already like I do but then again if I don't have the cash in time oh freakin well.

He looks pretty sweet! The outfit material especially looks quite awesome but I will be passing. I'm gonna be getting a Clone Trooper at SDCC for around the same price and to me thats more worth the money.

I won't say the Hasbro version looks just as good, but... for the money they are asking (and for what I paid for the Hasbro version), I'm happy with my Hasbro version. One of these days I'll give him a repaint and maybe some new accessories and he'll be even better than the SS version (for a lot less money).
