Kinda looks like fun!

Although the lead actor (forgot his name) seems to only play geeky virgins!

It's Michael Cera and you're right, he's wearing a bit thin. It's too bad too because I really liked him in Arrested Development.

If it was anybody, ANYBODY, but Cera in the lead role then I would see this movie. That kid has zero talent and plays the same pathetic loser in every movie he has ever been in. Even when it was a movie with cave men, he still played the geeky virgin.
The only thing that makes me want to see this is the facts it's from the same writer/director who did Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz, but dammit why did they have to cast Cera!

It's nice to finally see other comics being made into movies besides your normal Super-Hero movies.
There are alot of gems in the underground comic scene.

This reminds of Kick-Ass. Not your normal Super-Hero movie.  If the movie stays somewhat true to the comic like Kick-Ass did. It should be a really good movie

I do like Kick-ass, I'm gonna have to go the other route.
With so many main heros to use, not sure why they use little known comics to make movies out of and they wonder why they bomb at the box office.

Finally another DC hero movie will be made (GL) besides superman or batman. We have 11 of them with a couple more coming out and none of the Flash, WW, etc..

I'm guessing they can turn a pretty good profit. Compared to all the major ones. These movies don't cost alot to make. So profit margin is good. So far the only failed so-called hero movie has benn "Jonah Hex". Which shouldn't have been made to begin with. He's not a popular character and really dosen't appeal to anyone.

Yeah this is a Netflix or Redbox item for me, looks okay but not enough for that theater experience IMO.
I agree Cera is starting to wear thin he needs to change it up before he's typecast, when I heard they were considering him to play Peter Parker I almost keeled over.

It was EXCELLENT! I loved it and it's defintly one of the better films this year.  I don't know how, but I was able to stnad Cera for the whole movie. Go see it!

I finally saw it, and even though all the hype left me a little underwhelmed, I still enjoyed it a lot.  I haven't read the comic, but I saw it with a friend that had.  From what I understand, aside from a few minor tweaks, it stayed pretty true to the comic.

....Am I the only one that liked Knives better than Ramona?
