Can't fix something that isn't broken to begin with imho.

True... But Trek was a little broken. Not totally but mildly. Plus most of the original cast is dead. And we needed another NG movie like a hole in the head.

Someone else doing Star Wars? Call me crazy but that might be better than those prequels. As long as who ever writes them knows the words... STORY, PLOT and can say Character Development! HA ha...
