Galactic Heroes the new TV Show?
jokabofe:
I don't know if this is going to be a Galactic Heroes type show, either that or they are making yet another one. I just got this email:
--- Quote ---Lucasfilm Animation is currently developing an all-new animated Star Wars series, focusing its efforts on the comedic aspects of the "galaxy far, far away." Featuring creative involvement from Seth Green and Matthew Senreich, creators and executive producers of the Emmy and Annie Award-winning Robot Chicken, as well as writing from The Daily Show's Brendan Hay, the series will look at the Saga's characters with a playful and irreverent tone. The series will be produced by Daytime Emmy and Gemini Award-winner Jennifer Hill (The Backyardigans), and directed by Emmy-nominated Todd Grimes (Back at the Barnyard).

With Green/Senreich and Hay doing the writing, it might be a little more geared towards a slightly older audience.
DarthWormie:
That's the point I was trying to make. This Seth Green show and the "Squishies" show must be 2 completely different things.
Darth Spice:
TOO many kiddie shows! :-\ Wouldn't it be great to see a more adult themed Star Wars series?

As for the Seth Green/Matthew Senreich project...color me skeptical. They're perfectly capable of doing a good, funny show, but I'm not sure that they could tone it down to a child- or family-friendly level and still keep it as interesting. More to the point, I am not convinced that Star Wars really lends itself to comedy and irreverence.

Yeah, maybe some SW with blood and helmets flying off etc.
