We're working on ways to combat Spam and as a result we're going to use this thread going forward for front page news submissions.  We've been having problems with good news showing up as Spam and we are hoping to take care of this problem with several new steps to avoid the various unwanted solicitation of rolex watches, prescription drugs and various pecker creams.  If you have a story or link please copy it in to this thread, and we do still have our traditional email addresses available, but we just felt this was the best way to insure nothing getting lost in transit.  We can also give an explanation why we are not posting a submission if needed.

We'd never ignore our readers on purpose, and if you have sent something in the past that didn't get posted, I am very sorry. Please send us your preferred email to be added to our whitelist to help insure your mail is not blocked.  I have added most the people who've posted news to the front page over the past six months, but if you'd like to be sure your added simply send me a PM.

I was at TRU this weekend and what a crazy, freakin' madhouse!
However, it was worth it as I found some of the new 2010 LEGO sets
I found #8084 Snowtrooper Battle pack, #8083 Rebel Trooper Battlepack & #8085 Freeco Speeder
These are all AWESOME!

About a week ago I spotted the ESH wave at one Walmart.A buddy of mine locally scored them for me as well.I pciked up the following:

Concept Snowtrooper
R2-2X
Bespin wing guard
Zuckuss

All three are very awesome.

Check out the clearance section at Toys R Us fellow troopers.
This morning I found the Dagger Squadron B-Wing Fighter for $8.55. There was only one left so I snagged it and quick.
Hopefully TRU will have some good deals for the rest of you.

Hey troops.

I hit some stores looking for a post-holiday clearance deal.  I've seen reports of the Target Rancor going for $25, but I found mine for $35.  Not bad, but I guess you need to shop around.  More interestingly, I also found some basic figure two-packs at Target.  They ring up at the price of a single figure.  There were some Legends bundled, but I mostly found Cantina and ROTS wave bundles.  Sweet deal.  Keep your eyes open.

Howdy Troopers !  I found some new Clone Wars figures in Killeen, TX today at our ToysR'Us store.  I have not heard of these being found yet, so I figured I'd share a few pics as well....these did not ring up in their computer either, so they ran them with the regular Legacy barcodes.  These new figures have a special offer for a Nahdar Vebb exclusive figure.  Good hunting....starfox signing out.

Greetings fellow troopers. Check out the clearance aisles at wally world.
They still have the Legacy Pilot set for $9.00 and lightsabers for $15.00.
Today I found they have included the Capt. Rex helmet for $33.00. I'm not sure this is a great bargain.
The remote control R2-D2 is still at $20.00. Ho Hum.
The two Force Uleashed packs, Anakin Vs. Dooku and Obi Wan vs. Grevous have been marked down to $10.00
Last but not least the Sandtrooper w/ Dewback is on clearance for $20.00.

Well,I went to 3 different Walmarts and found part of wave 2 of 2010.One Walmart has Tac Droid(which I grabbed),Cold Weather Anakin,and Jek.The other Walmarts had Siduious and Thi-Sen.Noe sign of the wave 1 with Onoka and Aalya Secura yet.

Dewbacks are still full price down here in da swamp.
The Pilot Evolutions are down to $12 and some change.
I asked Wal'''''''' when they would start marking stuff down and I got an answer worth posting.

Down here in Louisiana, only can the District Manager mark stuff down.
So I asked if he has to travel to each store in order for the markdowns to
be done and she said yes.

WOW, so that mean's I'll be waiting a while longer as we have those stores growing on trees down here.
They did have those clone wars and legend two packs for $5 so I scooped a few
and used my $5 off coupon which is for $20 or more spent on Hasbro SW toys , woot woot!

Update, me and a few of my collecting bros went on a figure hunt and to our suprise we found some great deals.
Wally world had the AT ST marked down to $20 so I used my $5 off Hasbro coupon and got it for $16.80, SCORE!!!




I also found a few new cases of the Blockbuster packs for $4 a piece.
They also had the single figure Unleashed mini figs for $1.
And what really blew me away was finding a few mint Saga 2 figs for $3, I scooped the one pictured as I coul
never find it when it came out.
The evolutions packs are now marked down to $9.
Get out there and get your hunt on, the prices are going down!!!

I seen some in December then nothing.
I figured all the two packs were gone, then POW!

I even waited in the car while we hunted because I "knew" that Wally world (by my house) didn't have anymore
then my friend called me from inside, "Hey they got a crap load" and at first I though he was pulling my chain.

Lo' and behold here he comes with two bags full and I felt sheepesh LOL
The best one I would say, (which he got)   was a Jedi Luke backed with a Slave Leia  
Now that's a nice two pack to have, especially since I never found either of those figs in the stores round here.

How 'bout them Saints?  What a great game for Brees.  If you have a Ross store near you go and check them out.  I found the EE Exclusive Joker Squad on sale for $14.99 and the Pilot Evolutions on clearance for $7.49 !  Also, the Killeen Wal-Mart has reduced Dewbacks down to $15 and the At-St's down to $20.  Target has the Tie Fighters down to $27.98....no new figures though.  That's all from central Texas, starfox signing out.

I put that tip on the front page Fox, thanks for the update.  We got the Joker Squad for my son for Christmas but I still need one for me.  Is there an equivelent or a store "up north" that you think might have this deal?

Target has started clearancing their exclusives and have marked the TIE Fighter down to $19.98 up here in Bismarck ND. They still have plenty of them left too, with close to 15 of them sitting on the shelves in the clearance aisle and an end cap. Though most of the boxes aren't in great condition so they will mostly be openers unless your lucky. Still waiting for them to mark down that X-Wing though as they have a few of those left. They also have most of the figures from the ROTJ wave as well. North Wal Mart has their Dewback sets marked down to $20 and K-Mart is the only store in the area with turbo tanks left for $80, but you can take an additional %30 clearance items now until Valentines day, so you might want to pick one up for that special someone.
