Sandcrawler, what are the chances?

(1/5) > >>

Uncle George:
Don't know if I'm posting this in the right place. What are the chances of seeing a Jawa Sandcrawler again. Many vehicles have been re-hashed several times. I was retired collecting when the SC came out. Looking around the prices are quite ludicrous reaching almost the price of a loose vintage one, or am I looking in the wrong place? I would love to see a Sandcrawler. What's in pipe line in terms of store exclusives this year? Are we set for the year with Target's X-Wing and TRU's Interceptor?

Darth Spice:
I haven't heard anything about a new Sandcrawler but talk about a vehicle that could use the BIG upgrade like we saw with the Falcon.  I've been told we'll be seeing a Slave I first, but I've had a hard time getting visual proof to substanciate the rumor.  :-\

Vadersfist:
Thank you for saying this because I TOTALLY AGREE, we NEED a update of this piece and I want one since I don't have one. I mean, why not do another one abit bigger and then add in about 4 Jawas and a few droids to go along with it. It don't matter that the price tag of this would probly be more then say 75 but hell, the big vehicles are going for 100 bones and the Falcon was abuck fifty. The time we see one of these would probly be another year and half at least I'm sure.

Napseeker:
I already asked Hasbro about a Big Sandcrawler in one of the Q&As over at snowtroopers and their response was "sorry, too expensive to make and not aggressive enough"...  no big surprise.  I even suggested they could make it more kid friendly by including BaD pieces with the crawler so kids could assemble their own droids a la the Kenner Droid Factory playset.  They apparently thought of that, but still nixed the idea as too big of an expensive gamble.

Vadersfist:
No BIG suprise there.
