Losing their Heads

do any of you knowledgeable and experienced customizers know how to take off a Sideshow figure's head without breaking its neck?  if possible, i'd like to spare both the body and the head.

any pointers?

I've never done this with a Sideshow piece, but if they are constructed like most 12" figures, you can heat up the head with a hair dryer or with some hot water, and it should soften enough to remove it.

Yo I'm sittin on top of the- It's more than a feeling ain't it?

that's what i was thinking, jokabofe, but i thought i'd consult the experts before i went about inadvertently damaging my figures.  i'll try the ol' 'boil and pop' method and see how it all turns out.
