What did everyone think of last nights episode? I really didn't care for Ahsoka doing her best Anakin Skywalker imitation. Which again makes me wonder why use this character at all? Shouldn't the series stay central to Anakin???  ::)

Wasen't too big on this one. Predictible twist at the end and ridiculous looking characters. Next one looks good though with Fisto fighting Grievous.

This past episode sucked.

Ahsoka- boring
Luminari- Annoying

The senate guard dude, big surprise on him being a snake.
Wasn't his voice the same actor who voiced the disciple in kotor 2?

God and I thought the jar jar episode was bad, this past episode made the jar jar episode seem like a screen gem.

maybe she will follow ani in a sense and become a sith and then he has to kill her..hence learning to let go...and that is why she is not in the movies or even mentioned. :) That is my new prediction.

Cloak of Darkness is my fav. episode so far.

Gunray was hilarious!

This episode was pretty good IMO, except for a few things...

1) Why would they have sent Anakin's padawan with a different Jedi Master? That makes no sense. Doesn't Luminaria have her own padawan in Barriss Offee??

2) How could Ashoka handle Assajj's lightsaber skills by herself?

Other than those two problems I had with it, it was a good episode. And it shows how Gunray is able to get out of the problems with the Senate.

The Senate Guard uniforms looked different here than they did in the films. Wonder why.

Doesn't Offee become a knight in one of the original cartoon episodes? I know they show her building her lightsaber, but I can't remember if she was "graduating" in that or something.

As for the senate guards, their helmets looked the same, lol.

damnit, i missed it  :-\

You and me both, Foxy.

As for the uniforms, episode commentary says there was a bandwidth limitation...or something.  Essentially, they weren't able to generate entirely new models and stuff, so they had to use a clone template, with a different helmet and shoulders.

Well don't that suck now. :(
I guess I'll catch the episode on the flip side of the internet in about 2 weeks when cartoon network decides to put it on the net.

Good episode, kind of predictable, but I liked Fisto in this. I didn't even recognize Phil Lamar as his voice. Hope we see more of him!

It was the Ilum episode with the cloaking droids, so if this new series takes place after those events Barriss is now a Knight, too bad it would have been nice to see her in action!

And in case anyone missed it, there won't be another new episode until Jan 2.

Was hoping they would do a 'holiday' episode with a Wookiee Jedi going home to celebrate Life Day.  ;)

I was really hoping we would have seen Grievous' face, when the medic was about to remove his faceplate. I think that was one of my favorite episodes so far, because I like Grievous and seeing his lair was kick ass.

The latest Star Wars homing beacon had quite a bit of information for those who are looking to get caught up or watch their favorite Jar Jar episode again:

Although the final original episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars have aired for the remainder of 2008, there's no dearth of Clone Wars fun available at StarWars.com to keep fans busy until January 2nd, including the first-ever online "marathon," which begins on Monday.

Starting December 22, all 10 episodes of the hit Cartoon Network series that have aired to date will be available online at the official Star Wars website and at CartoonNetwork.com. What's more, each episode features a video commentary by supervising director Dave Filoni; a web comic; and a detailed episode guide containing concept art and additional insights into Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The online marathon ends on Monday, Jan. 5.

And on Friday, January 2nd, the first new Clone Wars episode of 2009, "Dooku Captured," debuts at 9 p.m. on Cartoon Network.

Just in case that's not enough for Star Wars fans, StarWars.com offers three exclusive online games providing unique, challenging experiences.

In "Sharpshooter," players can partake in some clone training, as they try to hit targets that range from holograms of battle droids to rolling destroyer droids. As the levels get progressively harder, "Sharpshooter" throws in some tricks, ranging from blast shields that make it difficult to hit your target to decoys that players need to avoid. It's classic arcade-style action whose increasingly difficult levels will pose a challenge to gamers of any age.

"Live Fire" is a keyboard-based game in which players take on the role of a clone trooper -- and can even customize his gear. By finding and collecting datapacks, while avoiding a phalanx of Separatist droids, players can unlock exclusive Clone Wars content, including images, videos and sounds. But beware, because the Separatist droids encountered on these missions to Christophsis and Teth are bent on success.

"Clones vs. Droids" offers the option of playing live against another player -- or practicing solo. Squads of droids and clone troopers are pitted against each other, and it's up to players to strategically prepare for both attack and defense during the game's 10 rounds.

The Clone Wars experience isn't just online, of course. In fact, during the holidays Cartoon Network will offer encore showings of Star Wars: The Clone Wars with more opportunities than ever to enjoy the intergalactic adventure.

Here is Cartoon Network's holiday schedule for Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Unless noted, all programming is half-hour episodes.)

  • Monday, Dec. 22 -- 10 a.m. (one-hour block), 5 p.m.
    Tuesday, Dec. 23 -- 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m. (one-hour block)
    Thursday, Dec. 25 -- 4:30 p.m.
    Friday, Dec. 26 -- 8 a.m., 6 p.m. (one-hour block), 9 p.m.
    Saturday, Dec. 27 -- 9:30 a.m.
    Sunday, Dec. 28 -- 9 p.m.
    Monday, Dec. 29 -- 10 a.m. (one-hour block), 5 p.m.
    Tuesday, Dec. 30 -- 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m. (one-hour block)
    Wednesday, Dec. 31 -- 9 a.m. (one-hour block), 3 p.m.

All times listed are ET/PT.

Don't forget -- the next original episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, "Dooku Captured," airs at 9 p.m. Friday, January 2. Until then ... may the Force be with you!
There will come a time when your training ends. There will come a day when you have learned all the lessons, when all my knowledge of the dark side will be yours. On that day you will challenge me for the title of Master, and only one of us will survive the encounter.

really? I thought gundarks were humanoid red dudes such as seen from star wars galactic battle grounds. It reminded me of something out of a resident evil game. lol
