Hello guys, I wanted to open some of the figurines in the card. However, if I open one, the plastic case that is glued to the card will tear away and damage the artwork on the card. Example: The figurines in T.A.C card.

Anyone have a good way to opening them but not damaging much on the card?

Thank you.

I just use an exacto-knife...it can cut away the bubble, but leave the card intact.  That is, if you don't mind having a rim of plastic remaining on the cardback...

this is what I do as well, no way to remove completely and not damage the card, at least none that I know about

I just cut the bubble completely IF I want to save the card but normally I just save the entire card/bubble to begin with anyway. That way I can just put the figure back if I want to.

So I suppose that the glue that is already glued on the cardboard cannot be heated in anyway to be unglue again...  :-\

Try steaming it instead of heating it.

Try steaming it instead of heating it.

Steaming it would cause the card to "rot" cause of water vapour and the card would "split" into many cards I think... oh man, it really kinda hard.

That's what I was thinking as well.

Build a box with a 60 watt bulb sitting over it, and let it sit in there for a bit. The glue should re-solidify and make it able to be removed.

I thought steaming is more like using hot vapor ....

Oh it is, sorry if I confused.

The light bulb heat idea I posted was just another way I thought might work.
Kind of like an easy bake oven.
