well let's knock some dust off of this one....when we first heard about this back in Apr'08, it was supposed to be a fall/winter '08 release date......that has done come and gone. We only have a week left of Jan '09, any updates on this?

This is why I'm getting down on GG, there is so much time from when they tell us about something and the release date, and then they never make the release dates and they run several months past re-estimated release dates.....seriously dudes. Cut back on the number of items you offer and just do the stuff right and get it out in time

Over here it is still scheduled for the beginning of Februari. But since that is pretty close by and we still haven't heard anything I suspect somewher halfway through March

Why settle on March, lets sau erm.... April lol. Seriously though i dont even thing this is out in Asia yet and they always get stuff first so im guessing a fair wait for the US then even longer for Europe. Im really worried about being able to get the variant, hope it isnt going to be too pricey on ebay.

Just got home, #1473/4200 was waiting for me when I got home.

It's the regular version. I am happy with this one. Not sure if I would chase the variant, Black Three Pilot. Now to think about does that mean his call sign was Black Three and was on wing for Vader in the battle for Yavin?

The chase TIE pilot, very disappointing. It looks like the silver paint was done by hand with a brush and a metal plate glued onto the bottom. The #'s on the bottom are not even special. Just pick one up and paint it, slap on a base plate and call it an exclusive. Very cheap.

Finally got my regular TIE pilot bust the other day, its a great piece. I should have the variant sometime soon.
