My first concert was at The Rave (formerly known as the Eagle's Club) in beautifull downtown Milwaukee and it was RATT. Right when they hit the scene and just the perfect little venue to check them out. I think I was 17 at the time. Man where did the time go. :-\

Get ready to laugh. My first concert was a birthday gift a long time ago.It had to be the late '70's or so.
Oh well.We went to see Sha Na Na.Some people here might not even know who that is.They put on a hell of a show.If you like the oldies, you'll like these guys.

As for a real concert. Smashing Pumpkins during thier Meloncholy and Infinite Sadness tour.
I went to a radio signing session. And AJ was an adaorable 4 year old. I had him ask for tix,
and we scored.

Same concert, WHOLE different experience
I hated it. All baldy head did was screech and make horrible feedback noise on the guitar....oh the only good part was watching him whine and threaten to walk off when they were throwing stuff at him!!!
MMMmmmmm......cookies!

First concert? Madison Square Garden, February 18th 1977, watching the one and only KISS destroy the world's most famous arena. I was 8 at the time, and my uncle took me. And just to make this a "tradition" - if you will - I'm gonna wait till my nephew is 8 (another 6 years) and then take him to see Slayer, or some other awesome band, and scar him for life  >:D

How embarrasing.... Rick Springfield and Joan Jett at Starlight Theater in KC......81, or 82? the shows got harder after that.

Was definiately one of the best I had been to. No props no glam just pure power......all they had behind them was a huge tapestry of the "Master of Puppets" album cover.

My first concert, well festival actually, was the Dynamo Open Air festival in '95. 25 Guilders (hmmm back then I'd say $11) got you Machine Head, Fear Factory, Nailbomb (!), Biohazard, Life of Agony, Type O'Negative and all the other top metal bands of that time.

Now, a similar festival will set you back a whopping $200, still offering 3 days at a camping site, the bands and lousy beer  ;D

Oh mine was Duran Duran! Yippie! Seven and the Ragged Tiger Days... Eyeliner and poofy hairspray galor! I was like 13. Good thing my music tastes grew up along with me. Sheesh.
