AC/DC Radio Channel on Sirius Satellite Radio
« on: September 30, 2008, 12:44:53 PM »
Any other Sirius subscribers out there? They changed the Punk station (channel 29) to all AC/DC radio! While I hate to see the punk station go, I didn't listen to it much anyway. (I usually keep it on Octane or Hard Attack) I gotta say I am loving the AC/DC Radio! It's almost like a guarantee that a song I like will be playing on the radio all the time. What's your favorite AC/DC song? I tend to like their stuff with Bon Scott the best.

My top 10 AC/DC songs: Subject to change without notice)
1) If You Want Blood (Album version from Highway To Hell)
2) Shot Down In Flames
3) You Shook Me
4) Rock N Roll Singer
5) Whole Lotta Rosie
6) Let There Be Rock
7) Money Talks
8 ) Flick Of The Switch
9) Problem Child
10)It's A Long Way To The Top (If You Wanna Rock N Roll)
My opinion is just that, MY opinion. If you don't like it, just ignore it.

Don't get me wrong...I like acdc...but I don't need to pay to hear them.

My local hard rock stations play them about 10 times a day. Same 4 songs all week. ::)

Yeah, but this isn't the same 4 songs. And believe me, I like AC/DC, but that's not why I pay for Sirius. I pay to mainly to get Octane 20. It's all modern hard rock. We don't have a decent rock station in my area, so I had to.

I did see where they put out a new record which amazed me and the song was really good at that.

Yeah, I've heard it twice. It was OK. The music was good but the lyrics were weak. All they seem to do since the Back In Black album is cock rock. Bon Scott's lyrics were more aggressive than Brian Johnson's. I like songs like Problem Child, Sin City, TNT, If You Want Blood, Live Wire, Dirty Deeds, etc.

Well I think really that even though that Bon Scott is gone. That Brian Johnson has filled the shoes pretty damn good and has put out some really good songs, or well the whole band themselves not just brian johnson.

Favorite song: Dirty Deeds done dirt cheap

Too true.

My dad has sirus, and I listen to octane with him. I also like the 80's channels.

My local radio is awful, unless you like 30 rap stations, 20 country 4 classic rock, and 1 todays music channel.

I do, and to be honest I haven't been coming online for much of late. So I haven't been listening too it.

I've been way too busy, tired, and depressed to come online of late.
