That's really sad if it turns out to be true. I wonder if anyone from MR will ever step forward and say this... not that I don't believe your source of info, but just as clarification.

Understandable.

My Y-Wing is #313/1000, My Snowspeeder is #33/1500, and my Signature Falcon is #211/500
For my Stormtrooper Blaster #2828/3500  and my Rebel Trooper Blaster #517/2500
All my Lightsabers are under #500 except for my E3 Obi-Wan which is #1877

The new Stormtrooper Helmet only 1,150 were made out of the what was it? 1500 limit.

that's some interesting, yet disturbing news about MR....that would be why they still have not got me my '07 Collectors kit Qui-Gon mini saber

Thats wierd. I got one for christmas that was ordered in december and got here fine.

The first few items from this new company are the items that Master Replicas did not produce like the Studio Scale X-Wing (which is molded after the Hasbro X-Wing with a few changes), Ki-Adi Mundi Lightsaber, Biker Scout Blaster, Chewbacca's Bow Caster (in the works), ect.

Are these all scaled or are the the actual size?

I understand that these are all full scale size items except the X-Wing which is studio scale.

That news makes a lot of sense to me. I check the MR Ebay auctions almost daily, and I couldn't figure out the lack of availability of some items. For instance, Y-Wings almost never come up for auction. Now I know. MR never made the amount that they claimed.

I'll need to check the numbers on my MR items.

I hopt that the news about the eFX X-Wing is true. I was really unhappy when I found out that MR would not produce it. I also was interested in the Chewie Bowcaster. Time will tell...

eFX changed their website graphic.

It looks like they are hinting at making a Stormtrooper helmet.

THAT does look MUCH better than the MR one that recently hit. I got a good look at one first hand and it looked like there was a big ass VISIBLE seam that runs down the mouth. I still don't see why you'd drop 4 bills for a helmet when you could put another 150 with it and get the whole damn suit!

Now that is where they'll clean up, the Clone Troopers are out there but it's not anywhere to the scale of availability of the TK suits. I'm wondering if they'll be doing anything to make the gear more comfortable, who knows if these guys improved stuff? I guess it's a big wait and see.

I got the concept Vader Helmet email.

The Obi-Wan light saber in that email looks awesome. Really, really nice.

I have a bad feeling that these items are going to be very cool but very pricey. I bet they'll cost more than the MR items. Oh, well...

Fortunately, this stuff will not be out until 2008 which gives us plenty of time to save.

Placed an order for the eFX Stromtrooper helmet today. We'll see how this new company works out. I'm not too thrilled how the order and order history are set-up on their website. You basically can't view all the information about your order such as the shipping address, date placed, etc. I think that this part of their site needs some work.

I'm getting the eFX stormie helmet but not directly from eFX since their shipping costs are huge. I'm getting it from an European distributor and everything is fine. I just have to wait until August for it to arrive.

FYI: I got an email from eFX, and they reduced the shipping cost from something like $40 to $20.

They did this but only to US and Canada customers. For Europe is still about $180-200 to ship. So my choice for an European distributor was good.

It's been almost two weeks since I placed my order with eFX for the Stormtrooper helmet, and my order is still being processed. I am so ticked off right now. This darn hunk of plastic cost $400. I don't care how much money you may have, but $400 is a big chunk of cash no matter what. For that amount of money, I expect better service. I expect some service. Damn-it. I have a feeling eFX will not be around very long if this type of garbage continues. I know that I won't be placing any more orders. Losers.

Exactly. The darn thing is supposed to be in stock and ship right away. I ordered the helmet two weeks ago. They contacted me five days ago to say that they couldn't process AmEx. I gave them another card, and they told me it would be processed right away and sent out over the weekend. No charges yet. No shipping confirmation. Nothing. No one picking up the phone there as of this morning. I'll call again a little later. For $400, this is just garabge. I shouldn't have to chase them down to get this sent out. It blows me away that people will take your money and give such crummy service. Don't even get me started on the mess that I have had with Pearle Vision over the past 7 weeks. $1000 and still no glasses that I can actually see through. Aaarrggghhh...

Looking at the SDCC pics, the concept Vader helmet appears to be 1:1 scale. Too bad. If it was .45 I would so have bought it. 1:1 scale will be way outta my price range tho.
