some of my one of a kind selfmade statues
« on: May 23, 2009, 10:52:47 AM »
hello community !!
im new to this board and i thought to share some work im doin for hobby.
I while ago I started to sculpt my own statues..it started, cause some of characters are simply not manufactured.. so i gave it a shot..

All of them you can see are one of a kind and handmade. The statues are made out of oven hardended clay and painted with acryl.

Hope you like them !!
Thanks a lot for looking!!!!

Very impressive work raas. You're right, there are so many characters I'd love to see made. It's nice you have the talent to do your own. What scale are they?

Nice! Do you have any others, or any displayed with GG, Koto, or SS statues?

Those are awesome sculpts man!! The detail on them is perfect. What is the brand of clay you use and where do you get it at? Paints Etc? Do you use a wire skeleton first ?
Holy Smokes!!! Did you see that freakin Ewok's head come apart?

jkno .. I looked for some pics in the internet for him..

Trooper JerTej  I use sculpey Firm.. in my opinion the best clay out there !! You can buy it on ebay.. or some other craft stores.. here f.e. https://www.theclaystore.com/

I use acryl paint and yes.. I always start with a wire skeleton.. put then some aluminium foil to give it some weight .. and then the clayl..first rough.. and then you go into the details :)
