« on: July 09, 2008, 07:53:18 AM »
Lets use this thread to keep track of the latest DPCIs so we dont have to search around other threads for them.  Maybe our bullseye employee spies will help post some up as they run across them.  Soooo...Post em if you got em folks:

087-06-2064: Star Wars Clone Trooper Battlepack
087-06-2066: Star Wars Rancor Monster (different rancor than the FU rancor?)

I had an older thead for this maybe we could merge some of the info from the older thread into this one?

I found that thread after I'd posted this one so I went back and added all the dpci's I found in it to this.

Been there as well, you punch in those numbers at the lil red price scanner in the aisles(of Target) to see if they have the item in stock or in the back, then if they do have the item, you just ask an employee to bring it out before you make a scene! >:D

Just make sure you find a "not so bright looking" employee when you ask them to bring stuff out like the Clone Wars figures since there's red lettering all over the boxes saying do not open until 7/26 haha.  If you get one to bring em out they should already be in the computer and you should have no problem checking out.  Walmart has them in their computer as "do not sell" so you have to be a little more tricky and employees a lil "less smart".  It should be known tho that ONLY TARGET uses these numbers.  Not wallyworld.

and if they don't work at one target don't be afraid to try them at another one, because they may be more helpful bringing stuff out of the back at different stores than others

As for employee picking I also try to get one not in the toy section.  The linen section is right next to toys usually and is a pretty good place to hunt employees for the mission  ;)

I try to find employees that don't look like managers, that are smiling, and are fairly close to the doors to the back any way.  I usually tell them " I can find this product in your computer, but you don't have it on the shelves, heres the DPCI #######, can you check the back for me?"

Or some....there are actually a lot nicer employees working at the red eye than at the other retail stores around these parts. And as a bonus, all of the T employees in this area actually, hold your breath, you got it- SPEAK FREAKING ENGLISH, as opposed to all the walmarts around here. Sorry, bad exp. at lunch today.

Yeah I agree most target empoyees are very friendly and helpful around here.  They also pay attention to the street dates which is why I said to find one who didnt look too bright or rather just doesnt care haha.  Most of the employees at the main target I go to here are very helpful.  I just wish we had the scanners that would let me punch in the dpci's myself.
