Clone Wars Season 2: Latest Episode Discussion
« on: October 05, 2008, 11:58:12 AM »
I thought this would be a cool place to talk about the episodes. So now that two are out what is it getting better or worse than the Movie?

i sat down and watched the first 2 today on my dvr....I enjoyed them, I liked the yoda theme music in the background of the first, nice musical touch, although I still think the talk between the battle droids is a little too stupid, but the kids probably like it

my only problem is with the cartoon network, because I set the dvr to record both shows and each one cut off the last minute of dialog, guess the network and my dvr don't agree on the actual time

2nd episode, I didn't care for Plo Koon's voice, it did not sound like what I thought it would sound like, talking through that breather/filter of his

I have to agree on the Battle Droids... No wonder they lost the war... Sheesh.
I really enjoyed the Yoda episode. It was cool to see him a bit more like he was in Empire mixed with his a$$ kicking side.
I'm also liking how the series has a more detailed look at the clones personalities.

I've heard that they'll be available on iTunes at some point.

Same thing happened to me, sort of. On the 1st episode the last 30-60 seconds got cut off by the DVR but was there at the beginning of the 2nd episode. The 2nd episode didn't get cut off at all for me.

Also count me in on not liking the battle droids 'personalities'. I understand why they did it, but since they're all controlled by a command ship shouldn't they all have the same personality? One that isn't so slapstick?

I like it better - slightly - than the film. I'm hoping that it will grow on me. But they really need to stop the droids from speaking.

For what it's worth my 2 youngest daughters LOVED the battle droid humor. Actually made them laugh. And from what I've heard from a fellow atlanta collector who works for CN and has seen the upcoming Jar Jar episode, I will take slapstick bantor all day love from the battle droids vs. 2 seconds of Jarjar.

Same with my son and his cousin. They watched each episode twice on Saturday morning and laughed their little butts off. They were walking around all day quoting the droids.

From TV.com:

Shadow of Malevolence
Airs: Friday October 10, 2008
After discovering the location of a Confederacy cruiser housing a devastating new weapon, Jedi Knight Anakin Skywalker and his padawan Ahsoka Tano lead a daring assault against the Malevolence.

Looks like the first arc! That's cool. Here's the next new few episodes tittles:

Destroy Malevolence (Third Part)
Rookies
The Lair of General Grievous (Sounds cool)

Right before the premiere, there was a behind-the-scenes stlye countdown...thing.  One of the snippets was a clip from Grivous' lair: dark, spooky, full of his replacement parts...should be interesting.

I liked the latest episode.  Much like Ambush, it hearkened back to the OT in some ways.  The whole attack on Malevolence was just like the Death Star attack in ANH, from the pilots checking in (in Y-Wings, to boot), to the battle droids in the ion cannon firing tunnel, to "watch those towers, boys."  Little nods like that, or full-on homage, really make it feel more Star Wars-y.

And say what you will, but I like the battle droids.  :P

I'm liking the show, but I'm going to start watching it on mute. Those Battle Droids are more annoying that almost anything else, save a person or two.

Though the battle droids are funny, they just shouldn't have all that personality. It just doesn't make any sense.

The new one was better, but all the ANH refrences were weird for me. And we get it...the Jedi treat their clones nice. Can we get a differant plot device now?

Okay apparently the treating the clones nice thing is bugging me for some reason. Honestly don't know why. Anyways, quick question.

Every jedi we've seen so far has (Obi-Wan, Anakin, Yoda, Plo Koon) has treated the clones nice. Yet in the last Legacy of the Force book. Boba Fett says that non of the Jedi's treated their clones very well and is one of the reasons why he dislikes Jedis. So is that just going to be one of a few inconsistencies or are we going to find out that all the other Jedis treat their clones like crap?

Well to me so far, I think that its pretty cool to see the jedi's treat their clones with respect. But also seein that when anakin turned, I think thats also when the clones changed, as with the ordered 66 was lauched. But in all reality, I could be wrong, which I might be but I don't care. I like the idea of the jedi's treating them really cool and we getting to see another side of the clones we never got to see.

My son and I have been enjoying he series so far as well. My only beef is with the Malevolence ship. With the ion cannons only on the side of the ship, why the heck are all of the republic ships always approaching/retreating from the sides?  ???

Maybe the ships are sensitive in that area of the ship and can easly be put the smack down on. I loved this past weeks show as well and wondered what else GG will get into and what other war will come this way. I also can't wait till the show ends up on DVD so I can have it for myself.

Thats how I watched as well Commander Naruto. I think its also maybe better on CNs website, you don't have any commercials, which I totally hate anyway and would rather see ALL commercials be not existent. Well maybe the SW and TF commercials would be cool though, but the rest say goodbye.

It really depends on the author writing the book or show.

There were a scad few jedi who liked there clones as friends.

Obi-wan
AAyla Secura
Anakin Skywalker
Etain Tur-Mukan
Bardan Jusik-who became a mandalorian after the civil war, known as gotab

Then there were jedi who hated there clones:
Windu
Vos
Kota

Yoda was indifferent

Boba is naturally going to hate jedi no matter what. I mean he did watch Jango, only after being ran over by a huge animal, be beheaded by  allspice windbag.

Most jedi's held clones as only parts of the republic army, like vehicles and ships.

Some respected them as men, and humans, worth saving and caring about them.

look at Rahm Kota, he disliked the idea so much that he created his own militia, imo Clones did their jobs and were willing to sacrifice their lives for the republic which made them even cooler

The third part was awesome. I thought it was a pretty good episode.

As far as the Clone comments go. I think It's a wait and see thing. We have seen a small number of Jedi's (Anakin, Obi, Plo and Yoda) So it's still too early to tell if all Jedi treat clones with kindness in this show. I'd love to see an episode with Vos, his character in the comics despises clones.

This weeks episode looks cool.

I'm hoping they bring in a clone hating Jedi, so we can see some interesting conflict between the Jedi. I just wish the animation was better. It bugs me whenever the audio doesn't match their mouths.

On Cartoon Network's channel. Last episode Obi Wan barely opened his mouth most of the time while speaking his lines.

I really enjoyed the episode tonight, it had everything in terms of a good story. I think the biggest thing to be enjoyed most was how much detail they put into showing how the Clones are turning into real men. From self sacrifice to the little calendar girls on the walls! Pretty great in terms of detail and I wonder why the movie sucked so much, yet all the episodes seem to be quite watchable. I do notice they tend to stay away from "Snips" and "Skyguy" nicknames which I can't stand. Overall, I just can't wait to see next week!
There will come a time when your training ends. There will come a day when you have learned all the lessons, when all my knowledge of the dark side will be yours. On that day you will challenge me for the title of Master, and only one of us will survive the encounter.

I enjoyed the newest episode too. It was pretty good story and character wise. I hope we get some figures of the Commando Battle Droids, cause they're pretty sweet! Also it's didn't have so much of Anakin or Obi-Wan. For some reason I can't stand the CGI versions of those two, but I liked the cartoon versions just fine.

THis episode by far was the best yet. Clones and clankers kicking each others rear ends for the win.

I agree though, that anakin and obi-wan in this version are very annoying. Obi-wan is more condescending than usual.

i thought the clone episode was great.. especially with the pin up girls on the walls.. definetely not regulation.. but the execution of the clone sgt and the clone saying "what the hell is that" .. I thought the show was showing some adult themes. I like it.. its really shedding the kiddie stuff and giving us some adult action.

If it was almost just stories focusing on clones then I think I'd love this series. The stuff between Cody and Rex was cool and funny, like when their tricking the droids into opening the door. And the battles like take place are pretty cool, so I hpe for more stories like this one.

I am so glad the show is great! When i saw the movie, all i could think of is "this is made for TV, not the big screen". And i am glad the TV show is so durned awesome! A real part of the Star Wars story. Just the right mix of entertaiment for the kids and adults alike. I can't wait for each episode to air.

This is something that can frustrate any fan. You'd think Hasbro instead of having the pegs littered with crappy Saga Legends nobody wants, they'd make something very cool like the battle droid from last week. I so forgot what it was called!  :-\ ???

Yeah he's right.
As soon as I saw them I thought "those would make the cooles toys!". Will we ever see them made? Probably not. Just more clone versions.

I'm thinking that if they had Commando Droids in abundance the Separatists might have won the war. Must have been too spendy.

Huge upgrade from the Roger Roger models apparently.

I know the movie is coming out the 11th of this month. So who knows. They might halve it up like avatar did.

I really hate that it wasn't on this past week.

Well if you watched a 'new' episode on Friday (The one about the rookie clones, right?) when there was no new episode on Cartoon Network, then I'm guess that they do put them up a week late.

I saw it Fiday night.I loved it as well. One thing I was thinking of:

Obi-wan:You look troubled Anakin.

Anakin:It's a two parter master.

Obi-wan:what?

Just kidding. The thing That I have always wondered.R2 units are to have thier memory earsed after every hyper space jump.Anakin didn't erase R2-D2's memory nor did Luke in the Original movies.Threepo got his memory wiped in ROTS but not R2.That was strange.

yeah that part confused me as well cause if u read the dark nest trilogy they say something like it is next to impossible to hack an r2's memory without the creators code, or something along those lines.

1x04 : Destroy Malevolence
1x05 : Rookies

1x07 : Duel of the Droids
1x08 : Bombad Jedi
1x09 : Cloak of Darkness
1x10 : Lair of Grievous
1x11 : Dooku Captured
1x12 : The Gungan General
1x13 : Jedi Crash
1x14 : Defenders of Peace
1x15 : Trespass
1x16 : Hidden Enemy
1x17 : Blue Shadow Virus
1x18 : Mystery of a Thousand Moons

Very cool indeed for putting that list up IF it is correct wormie from that website. Maybe a DVD box set will appear sometime around the first of the yr or so before spring hits. That way, just like the Clone Wars movie, I can watch it all without interruptions and maybe then they will do a season 2 Clone Wars which would be cool as well.

No chance. My guess is you won't see a season 1 DVD until sometime next summer at the earliest to help promote season 2 before it starts.

I guess they are gonig to start replaying the episodes on sat mornings now. That works better for me than fri nights.

Is episode 12 going to center around Jar-Jar? When will they learn?

As for the previous week's episode? Weak. You don't give a droid multiple chances to risk your life. Anakin should start wondering if goldy has been sabatoged.

Regarding Goldie: um, yeah.  Haven't we known since the figure was announced exactly where his loyalties lie?  Did some people just not get the memo, or is it a case of short memory?  ;)

And it's official: tonight's episode is the best yet.  Grievous re-asserted his bastardliness, and Artoo stole the spotlight.  Self-repair?  Saving the day yet again?  Astromech showdown?  Win!

Grievous re-asserted his bastardliness...

Am I the only one who feels Grievous is coming off as a bit of a coward in this series? I know it's first and foremost a kids show so they're toning the character down a bit, but I mean everytime something goes down, he high-tails it to his fighter and takes off. How many Separatist ships is he responsible for the destruction of so far? I remember when he first appeared in the original CW series. He was an indestructable killing machine. Now? Not so much.

He's striking me as the stereotypical bully. Intimidates the weaklings but as soon as someone stands up, he turns tail and runs.

I'm just really trying to find the answers about the series I've been looking for since last summer. During an interview with Steve Sansweet at Wizard World in Chicago he told me that after the Force Unleashed and the CW series you'll wonder if the events in Episode IV ANH could have even transpired. I'm not seeing the explanation of the padawan of Anakin either, that's what is going to be the most interesting part. How they kill her off and keep her from being referenced afterwards.  ::)

or maybe she is refered to in the movies but we just dont know it yet :o

just throwing that out there lol, but I too am wondering this, force unleashed was great and the cw series is coming out to be good too so atleast that is a plus.

1.first couple of scenes GG is surrounded by ani/obi blows open the window ejects all the pods and hightails away, not to mention the fact that he ran from the start of the battle making his droids fight in his place.
2.obi/GG show down. all is going well but once the clones show up and GG has lost two of his hands.....he....high tails it outta there on a spinny wheel bike thing trying to get to his ship.
3. not really a three but I think they also mention in the movie that he also seems to slip away from them.

I think when looking at this new series everyone just has to forget about the first CW. heck if we are comparing characters to that series then why couldnt mace windu beat an old man....he beat the bolts out of 100's of SBD with his bare hands, and dooku some how knew how to fly. not to mention the 100's of dropships landing on munilist from one carrier. none of that show was legit.

This two parter was alright. I kind of liked the fight between r2 and r3. Unfortunately it was another episode full of Anakin and Ashoka.
I was just thinking, how are they going to keep Anakin and Grievous from meeting if in almost every episode revolves around the two hunting down the other in some way?
Oh and can't wait for the Jar Jar episode. :-X

Good episode... I'm more impressed with this show every week! Looks like another good arc. I'm cool with that.

What was up with Goldie? Your thoughts?

Goldie is a spy Working for the seperatists.... that's what i'm thinking >:D

I do.... I think it was in the clone wars guide.... I think I read it there, long before I ever even saw an episode

ding ding, we have a winner !

Regarding Goldie: um, yeah.  Haven't we known since the figure was announced exactly where his loyalties lie?  Did some people just not get the memo, or is it a case of short memory?  ;)

i don't remember any discussion about that  :-\

As foxy said, the goldy is working for the separtist all the way. He kept scewing up everything for anakin. That should be part of the answere that gave it away.

I was thinking, you know how GG and Anakin talk to each other in the Episode 3, like they've never met before?
How are they going to keep that up if every episode involves them going after each other or being in the same place in some shape or form?

PHEW! That's good. Cause if they messed up on something like that, Lucas might have a fit. And yeah I had noticed how they just kept missing each other, but I was wondering how their going to keep it up.

He was an indestructible killing machine. Now? Not so much.

He's striking me as the stereotypical bully. Intimidates the weaklings but as soon as someone stands up, he turns tail and runs.

I agree, he seems like such a bad ass, but in episode 3 and this series he is wasted space, much like mace windu.

I think when looking at this new series everyone just has to forget about the first CW. heck if we are comparing characters to that series then why couldnt mace windu beat an old man....he beat the bolts out of 100's of SBD with his bare hands,

He could beat the bolts out of 100s of SBDs cause he was a master of Shatterpoint. Which means he's able to find the weakess point in any armor and shatter it with a touch of the force.

I read the book and know what you are talking about but still it was lame and stupid. And if that was the case for the movies then he didnt even need to bring all the jedi with him to save ani/obi/padme cause it looked like they were losing till their clone friends came along for the win.

My son liked it. Definitely not my favorite episode but it had it's moments. Thought the Rodian senator calling Jar-Jar 'Jedi Bombad' was kind of funny. Also liked that crab droid.

So any explanation of how Gunray gets out of doing any 'jail' time? Guy gets arrested at the end of TPM, and he's out in time for AOTC. Gets arrested here and he's out just in time to get hacked to pieces by Anakin/Vader in ROTS.

Guy must have one hell of a lawyer.  ;)

I'm just now watching the second part of the droid episode since thats the new episode on cartoonnetwork right now. I guess I will have to wait till next friday to see the jar jar episode. Stupid cartoon network does stupid s**t like this and they wonder WHY people are pissed about seeing the episodes like me that want to watch them every week and not a week late either. Total bulls**t IMHO about showing them on cartoon network.

Episode 8: "Bombad Jedi"

Worst.  Episode.  Ever.

Let's hope this Jar Jar nonsense is just a one-shot.  If he does come back, let's hope it's not another condensed re-write of The Phantom Menace.  This was just terrible.  My friend's kids said this one was too boring and was just like Episode I.

Yeah it was Ahmed Best doing Jar Jar's voice. He also did it in both the Robot Chicken specials so he doesn't seem to mind being Jar Jar too much.

I guess they figure since thursday is the holiday that NO one will watch it friday so why put a new episode on is what I'd say would be the best answere.

Id watch it...though Ill be at my wife's high school reunion Friday night....so it not being on is a blessing.

Though I'd rather be home, watching Friday night shows than hanging with my wife's loathsome friends.

what year reunion?  have fun and don't let anything bother you, be yourself

Her 10th....

I just don't mix well with her friends.
Their inner city Philly know it alls, that think anyone outside of Philly is a hick, because(no lie) we have trees around our houses.

I've met a good portion of her friends from highschool, most of them girls, who for some reason felt it necessary to flirty with me heavily in front of Lyn. They liked stealing Lyns boy friends, not sure how they did that, they were all sea cows imho, but alas they were easy if you get my drift.

Personally, seeing some of her ex's, one of which married one of her friends, is what is bothering me the most.

Im going to elaborate on that in the blog thread.

TRUE. Has he done anything else at all, lol? I'd never heard of him before STAR WARS to be honest.

what's up with going to repeats already this Friday?  c'mon Filoni, keep the new stuff coming

The holiday weekend was most likely the deciding factor. Gives them an excuse the run a 'Malevolance' marathon.

Don't forget that there are only 22 episodes this season. They've already aired what, eight? That leaves them with 14 new ones to last until next September? Gotta spread them out.

Well no, the TV season ends in May, but your point is valid. 14 episodes to last 6 months means we are going to have a ton of repeat episodes.

What did everyone think of last nights episode? I really didn't care for Ahsoka doing her best Anakin Skywalker imitation. Which again makes me wonder why use this character at all? Shouldn't the series stay central to Anakin???  ::)

Wasen't too big on this one. Predictible twist at the end and ridiculous looking characters. Next one looks good though with Fisto fighting Grievous.

This past episode sucked.

Ahsoka- boring
Luminari- Annoying

The senate guard dude, big surprise on him being a snake.
Wasn't his voice the same actor who voiced the disciple in kotor 2?

God and I thought the jar jar episode was bad, this past episode made the jar jar episode seem like a screen gem.

This episode was pretty good IMO, except for a few things...

1) Why would they have sent Anakin's padawan with a different Jedi Master? That makes no sense. Doesn't Luminaria have her own padawan in Barriss Offee??

2) How could Ashoka handle Assajj's lightsaber skills by herself?

Other than those two problems I had with it, it was a good episode. And it shows how Gunray is able to get out of the problems with the Senate.

The Senate Guard uniforms looked different here than they did in the films. Wonder why.

Doesn't Offee become a knight in one of the original cartoon episodes? I know they show her building her lightsaber, but I can't remember if she was "graduating" in that or something.

As for the senate guards, their helmets looked the same, lol.

damnit, i missed it  :-\

You and me both, Foxy.

As for the uniforms, episode commentary says there was a bandwidth limitation...or something.  Essentially, they weren't able to generate entirely new models and stuff, so they had to use a clone template, with a different helmet and shoulders.

It was the Ilum episode with the cloaking droids, so if this new series takes place after those events Barriss is now a Knight, too bad it would have been nice to see her in action!

The latest Star Wars homing beacon had quite a bit of information for those who are looking to get caught up or watch their favorite Jar Jar episode again:

Although the final original episodes of Star Wars: The Clone Wars have aired for the remainder of 2008, there's no dearth of Clone Wars fun available at StarWars.com to keep fans busy until January 2nd, including the first-ever online "marathon," which begins on Monday.

Starting December 22, all 10 episodes of the hit Cartoon Network series that have aired to date will be available online at the official Star Wars website and at CartoonNetwork.com. What's more, each episode features a video commentary by supervising director Dave Filoni; a web comic; and a detailed episode guide containing concept art and additional insights into Star Wars: The Clone Wars.

The online marathon ends on Monday, Jan. 5.

And on Friday, January 2nd, the first new Clone Wars episode of 2009, "Dooku Captured," debuts at 9 p.m. on Cartoon Network.

Just in case that's not enough for Star Wars fans, StarWars.com offers three exclusive online games providing unique, challenging experiences.

In "Sharpshooter," players can partake in some clone training, as they try to hit targets that range from holograms of battle droids to rolling destroyer droids. As the levels get progressively harder, "Sharpshooter" throws in some tricks, ranging from blast shields that make it difficult to hit your target to decoys that players need to avoid. It's classic arcade-style action whose increasingly difficult levels will pose a challenge to gamers of any age.

"Live Fire" is a keyboard-based game in which players take on the role of a clone trooper -- and can even customize his gear. By finding and collecting datapacks, while avoiding a phalanx of Separatist droids, players can unlock exclusive Clone Wars content, including images, videos and sounds. But beware, because the Separatist droids encountered on these missions to Christophsis and Teth are bent on success.

"Clones vs. Droids" offers the option of playing live against another player -- or practicing solo. Squads of droids and clone troopers are pitted against each other, and it's up to players to strategically prepare for both attack and defense during the game's 10 rounds.

The Clone Wars experience isn't just online, of course. In fact, during the holidays Cartoon Network will offer encore showings of Star Wars: The Clone Wars with more opportunities than ever to enjoy the intergalactic adventure.

Here is Cartoon Network's holiday schedule for Star Wars: The Clone Wars (Unless noted, all programming is half-hour episodes.)

  • Monday, Dec. 22 -- 10 a.m. (one-hour block), 5 p.m.
    Tuesday, Dec. 23 -- 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m. (one-hour block)
    Thursday, Dec. 25 -- 4:30 p.m.
    Friday, Dec. 26 -- 8 a.m., 6 p.m. (one-hour block), 9 p.m.
    Saturday, Dec. 27 -- 9:30 a.m.
    Sunday, Dec. 28 -- 9 p.m.
    Monday, Dec. 29 -- 10 a.m. (one-hour block), 5 p.m.
    Tuesday, Dec. 30 -- 9:30 a.m., 2 p.m. (one-hour block)
    Wednesday, Dec. 31 -- 9 a.m. (one-hour block), 3 p.m.

All times listed are ET/PT.

Don't forget -- the next original episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, "Dooku Captured," airs at 9 p.m. Friday, January 2. Until then ... may the Force be with you!
There will come a time when your training ends. There will come a day when you have learned all the lessons, when all my knowledge of the dark side will be yours. On that day you will challenge me for the title of Master, and only one of us will survive the encounter.

Yeah the newest episode with that thing in the episode was really cool. I myself liked the clones of course especially the Cmd clone too. Man I never knew the many legs GG had plus I really hate it when GG was about to get face mask cut off and they cut it damn it. I wanted to see under that mask.

There's an interesting bit of CW news over on the FP of The Jawa.com regarding a special guest star who will be voicing a character in a 2-part series airing later in January.

That was EXACTLY what was going through my mind when I realized that was Rex. I usually hate multiples of characters but I wouldn't even be opposed to snow suit Anakin and Obi Wan either!

I absolutely love this series. Who is George Takai supposed to be voicing?

Actually... no, it's not. It's similar... but there is some OT snowtrooper thrown in, as well as some elements of a new design.

Who is George Takai supposed to be voicing?

I believe he was in last week's episode - as the voice of Lok Durd.

Yup that was George Takei.

The galatic marine verison of Rex is on my table to be done as well. I have all the pieces ready to go.

This episode was good, I enjoyed it. But the last three episodes, this one included, the public service announcements are getting old.

I loved this episode....I don't think Kenobi is in these nearly enough. The speeder bikes with the enclosure is awesome, I would love to see that as a Toy version, There is a Jedi of the same species they found as lost on that planet correct? They should have sent him as the Jedi on this mission since no one seemed to know they were there or how to communicate with them, how did 3PO interpret if he had never heard their language before?

Go easy on the lil guy, I'm sure he doesn't mean harm. I am still in shocked as Fox said, the growth of the characters and getting to know the army. It's come a loooooooooong way since last summer. I thought the first installment or "movie" was the beginning of the end.

The episode was basically a prelude to the animated movie. It's weird that they decided to air it in the middle of the season.

You can usually count on someone posting a new episode of most shows on youtube.

No worries bro, I just hate the fact your cable company screws you on cartoonnetwork.

Sorry, but that's how I roll.  :pimp:

FYI, according to a press release over on SW.com, Cartoon Network picked up season 2 of Clone Wars (no-brainer) but it won't premiere until the fall. So that means we've got 6 more new episodes to last us another 7 or so months?

That episode was "Gungan General", so your about 6 episodes behind is all. The latest was "Blue Shadow Virus". I'm pretty sure it's still the same actor doing Jar Jar's voice. Sounded the same to be anyway.

NOPE, and they have NO plans to either. They are sticking with their NORMAL line because from what the NEWS said they are filing for chapter 11 bankrup because to me their cable SUCKS ASS. Right now I'm just waiting on the dish guy because he got hurt from a fire since hes a firefighter as well. So I'm waiting to see what happens with his health first. Thats ALL I'm waiting on right now.

The thing that sucks is this will be the "cliffhanger" episode that introduces this new badass Cad Bane, and then leaves us hanging for the next 9 months while we wait for it to start up again next year  :-\

Well tonight episode of what I could see of it since the GF had me cooking was great I thought. Loved the AT-TE's in action finally and got to see some of the chick walkers FINALLY do more along with their troopers with the really cool buckets. I'll have to sit and watch it again here in about 30mins because its getting ready to come back on Cartoon network. Well I have it DVR'd so really don't have to wait because I have it.

My son Tyler said it best I think, "it's about time we seen her do something other than stand there"!  8)  That might have been one of the biggest let downs of the prequels is the "cameo" of Aurra Sing never being followed up on. Personally I might have rather seen Aurra in there at the beginning of EII vs. Zam Wessel.  :-\

I'm really liking what I see in Cad Bane too, you gotta love the whole cowboy thing they have going on with the six shooter blaster pistols!  8)  :worship: :emperor:

neways, it would also be cool if hasbro made the green at-tes thats able to carry the at-rts inside them-that was cool! i would actually rather that than a troop carrier b/c in my opinion, the at-te is more for battling and not dropping off troops...

Tack on more money and lots more of hasbro explosive fall apart action. Hell in the show a lazer bolt took hit one of the legs and it just flew off, just like the toy.

I told you guys it was hasblos gimmick.

Season finale tonight kiddies!

Here's hoping that they'll have some kind of a 'tease' for season 2 after the episode.

I'm soooo conflicted about watching this season finale or the season finale of Battlestar tonight... I'll probably watch this from 9:00 - 9:30 and then Battlestar afterwards... buy I really want to check out the BSG finale so I might watch this after... arrrggghhhh I'm confused!!

If you can't DVR either of them, SciFi is re-airing the BSG finale at Midnight tonight and CN is re-airing the CW finale tomorrow morning at 9:30am

I've got my DVR set to record the final episode of Clone Wars. I'lll watch AND,........record it so I have it to watch anytime I want. Plus CN is reairing ALL the episodes during the week so I should have the entire series on my dvr in no time.

Oh it's not about DVR'ing either of them... I DVR BSG every week because it 'conflicts' with a show that the Mrs likes HAS to watch at 9pm, and I can't stand watching it on the 20" SD bedroom TV when I can watch it in HD on my 50" plasma. We don't get CN in HD (  :'( ) so that's irrelevant for that show... but at least we get SciFi in HD. Besides, I can (and will) easily download both soon after they air... it's just a matter of which do I want to watch more?

Iam getting tired of watching Jedi get knocked unconscious. This is at least the second time Anakin has been knocked out this season. They don't seem so special after all when they are always getting knocked out.

THIS EPISODE SUCKED!!!

Worst episode so far, as I figured, all this hype and hoopla over a big steaming pile. Much like with force unleashed.

I agree with jedimom, come on a Jedi, though I hate them, except anakin, are pitiful in this series.

What the hell was Bane, an aqualish wanna be mando? Lame.....great way to go out with a thud or a plop into the toilet more like it.

Aurra Sing again, barely there. Though at least she was drawn attractive and not monsterous like she is sometimes.

REALLY? I liked the bounty hunters, and I thought this was one of the better episodes. Nice to see Xiro back in action??  :-\ ;D :)
There will come a time when your training ends. There will come a day when you have learned all the lessons, when all my knowledge of the dark side will be yours. On that day you will challenge me for the title of Master, and only one of us will survive the encounter.

I'm going to have to TOTALLY agree here. I thought this episode was awesome myself but I guess its to whatever your taste IS in SW. Mine has been that I've been really happy with the first season. I'm pretty excited to see what DOES happen next season when it starts back up.

I think they nailed it on Aurra Sing, too. I bet we get a figure for her.
