INTRODUCTION
The Republic Gunship can blast the droid army with blistering weapons fire and transport of clone troopers into battle. This aerial attack craft is heavily armed with missile launchers, chin guns, and bubble-shaped laser cannon turrets. Rugged and fast, the LAAT/i (Low-Altitude Assault Transport/infantry) vessel is a Republic workhorse, seeing extensive combat throughout the Clone Wars.

This is the sixth Republic Gunship to be released. This time around it is different with new features and not just a new paint job. First off the paint scheme is based off of a Gunship used by Obi-Wan Kenobi and Commander Cody in the Clone Wars animated series during the Ryloth story arc in season 1.

The Gunship still has the front launching projectiles, firing top cannons, the drop off landing platform for the troops, opening and closing side doors and room for two pilots in the cockpit. So what makes this Republic Gunship different? For starters the closing side doors now are solid and conceal the entire side opening when closed. The two front doors on the ship now have fold down ramps / doors. Finally the two top mounted cannons now have flip-out concealed missile launchers. This makes this ship practically brand new even though the old mold was used for the most part. These little additions / changes make this ship much more noticeable and different from the Gunships of past.

On the side of the Gun ship is the painted image of Salacious Crumb or other Kowakian monkey-lizard holding a bomb ready to drop it on his enemy. The text in Aurabesh translates to "Laugh This Off."

If you want to though in the Clone Wars animated series they are not used on this ship you can attach the "Geonosian Assault" Gunship Pods Battlepack to this Gunship.
