INTRODUCTION
The Imperial installation on Endor's moon houses a critical piece of technology: the generator that creates a powerful deflector shield around the second Death Star. Imperial Stormtroopers stationed on the lushly forested rock protect the generator at all costs. They are commonly known as Biker Scout (Scout Troopers) for their customary use of Speeder Bikes, which enable them to swiftly weave through the thick woods, looking for any sign of intrusion by Rebel Alliance Forces.
The Speeder Bike uses the Tonka Corporation mold that has been used since the
1980's but without the ejection / crashing mechanism. Hasbro has updated the Speeder Bike with Episode II
- Attack Of The Clones but for some reason keeps using the old mold. This time the Speeder Bike is colored grey more like the vintage version.
The Biker Scout that comes with this exclusive Toys-R-Us set is the same Biker Scout that was released in the
"Vintage Style Collection" back in 2006 but not as dirty or at least in my sample. The Biker Scout figure fits nicely onto the Speeder Bike.
So grab some troops and go scout Endor for some pesky Rebels. Just watch out for those Ewoks, they can be
troublesome.
