VADER NEVER LOOKED BETTER
This quarter scale figure of Darth Vader is make out of a mixed media format - cloth, resin, and electronics make this Darth Vader collectibles extremely detailed. Each Darth Vader collectible is painted, costumed, and assembled by hand, and held to the highest quality standards. This Darth Vader is based on his first appearance in Star Wars Episode IV - A New Hope.

As with many Sideshow collectibles, Vader came in both a 'regular' and 'exclusive' version. The exclusive version included a quarter scale (MSE) mouse droid that was limited to 2000 pieces and the regular edition size was only 500 more but did not include the (MSE) mouse droid.

The attention to detail is amazing, and this is some of the finest work from Oluf Hartvigson, who is well known as one of Sideshow's best sculptors. This Darth Vader collectible is designed to stand alone or as a companion piece to the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi Premium Format figure.

The Darth Vader base can either be plugged in or you can place three double AA batteries (included) inside. There is a large button on the back of the base that activates the light up feature. Having either battery or AC power was a really nice decision on Sideshow's part. The lightsaber, belt boxes, and chest light up. The lights on the chest and belt are very bright and burn steady, there are no blinking effects.
