INTRODUCTION
It is not very often I get a collectible that I
can't believe I own; and, while all the other Sideshow 1:1 Star Wars busts in my collection are definitely cool and have a high wow factor, the 1:1 General Grievous bust is easily in a league of its own. No doubt
he'll command a high level of attention, from anyone who dares enter your collection room. While the piece might appear very brittle, much like the Salacious Crumb, the construction is very sturdy but still extremely fragile.
Ultimately, what makes this piece so great is the unique design of the character, and Sideshow has done a wonderful job properly reproducing this character in the real world. Everything from the glossy life-like eyes, face mask, real hoses in the neck cavity, and the marble effect are perfectly executed. Even though Grievous is a CGI character and you really don't have anything
"cannon" to compare him to, this no doubt is the finest model of General Grievous produced to date. Whether you have been collecting the 1:1 line from the beginning or this is your first piece, there is no doubt you
wouldn't want to miss this one.
