INTRODUCTION
TIE Bombers are the prime assault bombers of the Empire. In traditional attacks, TIE Fighters first soften up the target, and then the TIE Bombers come in to finish the job. Their sophisticated targeting sensors enable them to hit specific targets without damaging surrounding areas. This allows them to disable vital areas so the Imperial forces can take control of the crippled vessel or space station. TIE Bombers carry a heavy and diverse payload that allows them to not only attack ships and stations but also perform ground bombing and deploy orbital mines. In The Empire Strikes Back, TIE Bombers are deployed to locate the Millennium Falcon when it hides in an asteroid field.
With many features this craft is going to be a fan favorite. This craft has an opening cockpit for the included TIE Pilot,
3-Proton Bombs that really drop from the ship and play value that any kid or collector can enjoy.
Packaged in a window box you can either choose to "open up" and enjoy this vehicle or keep it in its box so you can look at it on your display shelf.
The included TIE Pilot has bendable knees and fits nicely into the cockpit of his bombing craft.
The second release of the mighty TIE Bomber is once again a Wal-Mart Exclusive. I guess the response was so good that Hasbro and
Wal-Mart decided to go for a second round.
Same as the first release of the TIE Bomber this version has only one small difference, it is
slightly weathered more. Is it enough to make you go out and purchase another TIE Bomber?
Wal-Mart thought so. If you have the POTJ Version you will be ok with passing this one up unless you are like me and just want another TIE
Bomber.
